I think the most badass character ever would have to be.... Hibari Kyoya from KHR.

Neither are badass. I can list more badass villians.

1. Xanxus(KHR)
2. Orochimaru(Naruto)
3. Crocodile(One Piece)
4. Kabuto(Naruto)
5. Byakuran(KHR)
6. Gin(Bleach)

However, Madara is a better villian since what Aizen mostly did was sit on his ass while everyone else fought and died for him and he didn't do anything til all the other Arrancars were dead. Madara didn't wait til the last minute to do anything and has a good war strategy hell he had a war strategy.

Aizen was cool at first but after the Hogyoku thing he became another Final Fantasy villain ripoff.

His only redeeming trait was that before betraying everyone he put them all under his KyokoSuigetsu so he could rofl rap stomp them later when the time comes all then comes the one question if he had everyone under his Shikai he could've used it sooner and since Hinamori was knocked out before he even got free and since she appeared after he got trapped in the flames when did he get the opportunity? Even Shinji said"SINCE WHEN?!"

I rate villains differently than I do normal characters. Villains are supposed to be the opposing force against the main characters, generally hated or disliked, and are supposed to be ruthless and despicable. Villains should be ambitious and have no sense of moral boundary regarding their goals. Aizen is a better villain since he defeated the Gotei 13's fighting force single-handedly. Not because of the strength he used, but because it was the most villainish thing a Bleach villain could do.

Madara is most likely a better character than Aizen considering his diverse range of abilities and his relationships to the main characters. The mysteries that surround him create dozens of story possibilities, and that makes him a better character than Aizen for the moment. If we get the backstory behind Aizen's plan, that might change, because it would give new depth to Aizen's individual actions, mannerisms, and speeches.

I think the title of this thread should be "Whose is the better Villain?" because I don't really classify either of these characters as badass. In fact I hate Aizen because he is a smug jerk and Madara hasn't really done anything to impress me.
