You can't delete a topic (although it would be nice if that option was added) ... well now I know this, of course to be fair I probably would've read it in a spoiler anyway .. just be careful what you put in your titles.

Yes you can. The person who opens the thread can delete it. And moderators can too.

Haha I like the title, better than what it originally was ... How did you change the title by the way? I've tried to change the title of one of my threads and it's not working.

Which one, link it, and what you want it changed to, and I'll see what I can do. If you are the owner of the thread, I believe you can change the title in the first 90 seconds after creation, but other than that, you need mod rights.

It's the bottom link in my signature, where it has a link to my fanfic (book) I was wanting to change the title to The Reaper, since that's title of the "book".
