The subsitutions are too hard to pull off!

serously! its like everytime you go online or cpu whenever you get hit you TRY to mash the R2-L2 buttons, but in the end it BARLEY WORKS. you still get your butt kicked during a combo which frustrates me alot, did CC2 screw up with the substituions in this game or what?

IMO its easier to Substitute in storm 2 than in storm 1.

My friend seems to have no problem with it. He always spams substitute, and since I'm terrible at substituting, I get rocked most of the time and only by waiting for him to run out of chakra or leave himself open do I get the chance to hit him.

For quite a while i i had trouble doing substitutions aswell (in Storm 2), and i hated the fact that i had to rely more on Ninjutsu, throws etc. to take down my opponents, just because i always ended up losing if i went into close combat with my opponent.

I have to disagree with KonanXD 2, originally it was far easier for me to subsitute in storm 1 than it was in storm 2. So much that a while back i decided to switch the sub buttons from R2/L2 to R1/L1. That originally did not help, but i later found out my problem was that i just didnt tap the buttons fast enough. It really is crazy how fast you have to tap em for the sub to work. Nowadays i am alot better at subbing in Storm 2

Tbh, i don't like subbing this way, but the problem is that you (or atleast I) just can't get a "feel" of when to hit the button. If doing a sub was more like teleporting in Dragonball Tenkaichi/Raging Blast, then i could learn the timming, but with the Storm series its like it's impossible

I found it easier to sub in Storm 1 than I did in Storm 2. In fact I found it too easy in Storm 2.

Well ur SUPPOSED to time ur substitutions. I usually mash during combos and time it when a team ougi/ougi comes along.

It's reallly easy to substitute in this game if you ask me. Too easy.

I know right? I think it's because sometimes the connection laggs a little bit.

I find it a lot easier to substitute when I switched the controls from R2/L2 to R1/L1, it allows you to mash the substitution button a lot faster, and it has a better success rate(At least with me)

Is this a joke post? My god every time my brothers attack me while playing this game it's me subbing and Ultimating into them. It's mad easy for me, I think.
