Long Posts.

Do you read/type out very long posts? Like do you do it on a daily basis? Do you actually read them when somebody else types them out? Do you like to read them?

I personally type some pretty long posts on this forum. I definitely do it on a daily basis, although I also type fairly short posts as well. Mostly in the character talk section. I try to keep it short there because I know people won't read a post if it's too long because they're just looking for an easy post count. Which I don't mind because I think it's kinda fun to just sit back and watch the numbers go up.

I also read pretty long posts when people type them out because they usually have some really juicy gossip or they're informative and I kinda have to read everything because I don't like to be kept in the dark about stuff like when there's a new rule and I'm doing it wrong and people are like "Yo did you even read the new rules?" That or they're by Deidara330 which I just enjoy reading his posts because he's pretty much the only person other than me that makes long posts and says a lot more things than has to be said in a thread that just deems a simple answer.

Sort of like this one.

And as for liking to read them, I guess I just unpurposfully answered that question in my last paragraph. And now you know what I'm saying when I talk about saying way more than I have to.

Sometimes. If I'm in a lazy I won't read. But if I'm not, then I'll read.

Ah, you must have Wall of Text Syndrome. Unfortunately, there is no known cure.

Yeah I do I guess. Sometimes I just think something and type it out and then I kind of feel really stupid because it's so blunt. It's just there. It could have been the way that I was taught or something in school that I should pretty much always add supporting details when I'm writing an essay or something like that to make it look more intelligent and to answer the question to yourself "is this answer sufficient and would I write this answer down if my life depended on it," or something along the lines of that.

By the way, I don't think I've ever seen you type less than the sentence you've just typed about about how there is no known cure for wall of text syndrome.

They should so make that an official disease.

Hmmm, that's wierd. I don't think like that when I write. I just talk this way. Srsly.

I think once I made a post that just said "Yes.." But I'd have to look for that.

I actually never read short posts I find them boring and unteresting. I like long posts because they have lots too say and interesting facts or something I like too read.

I do my best not to type out long posts because most of the time people never respond when I type out a lot. Only when I type out short posts do I get a response. When it comes to reading long posts I will; unless it is grammerally hard to read. For example, if there's barely any periods, or the sentences are just completely hard to understand, I will stop reading. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it is generally frustrating to try and read a long butt post that looks like a bunch of rubbish throwen together.

A good strategy I've heard is to read the first and last sentence of each paragraph.

I write them, but now always. And yes, when they post one they have something to say or they never would have typed it out to begin with..

I read long posts when they interest me. Otherwise I tl;dr em because it's obviously not worth my time. To be frank, if I can barely read my text book which isn't a waste, why would I read a forum post that obviously will get me nowhere?
