You're essentially trading in a belief in a higher power for a belief in nothing, what's the point? If that's your reason for being an atheist, you're obviously doing it wrong because you believe in nothing, which in itself is still believing in something.

i believe we humans are just using our own wordly knowledge and basing it on the universe

who said the universe ever was "made" I'm thinking god and the universe have always been and that there is no start of the universe it just always was

its just a human idea that things need to have a begining we always assume things SHAME ON US

Personally, I believe Gods were created by humans to make us feel better.
Who knows if there is some kind of higher power or not? I'd certainly like to believe there is. But as humans there's no way we can possibly know what exists for us after life until we're dead.

As for the theory of how the world was created... I don't know what to make of it. Either there was some guy floating around in a non-existent world suddenly decided to make everything, or everything spontaneously exploded out of nothing. Both theories make little sense.
