Naruto Shippuden Episode 206 Discussion

In this episode, titled "Sakura's Feelings", we got a new opening and ending themes.

I like the music flow and all the scenes with KB in it. I didn't like the fact, that Danzo barely appeared in the opening, though. After all, most of us know that he'll assume a very important role in the near future. They could have extract some scenes regarding Naruto and Sasuke (+ the scene where Naruto performs RS) to add a little extra Danzo.

The ending was great because it had PAKKUN! O.o ~~I haven't seen him in ages.~~

The episode itself was great. When we all thought that Sakura had realized how such a pain-in-the-a$$ she had been to her friends, especially Naruto, and was willing to change herself for the sake of others, she decides to lie about her feelings to Naruto and go after Sasuke herself.
Also in this episode, Kisame manages to track down Killer Bee and the two engage fight. In the end of the episode, Samehada's true form is revealed. Can't wait to see these two going all out, in next episode.

Even though, the song of Naruto's new opening theme was kind of "soft" for the type of arc this is, I really enjoy it, especially those scenes with Killer Bee in it. But the kunai at the end was a pretty random moment, if you ask me.

What the heck, Danzo only appears once in the OP? That's crap. His fans are going to get seriously mad.

The episode itself was great. When I thought Sakura had finally realized she has been nothing but a stuborn and was willing to change herself for the people around her, especially Naruto, she decides to do something even worse an lie her feelings to Naruto instead of telling him the truth.
Kisame as finally engaged fight with Killer Bee, and Samehada's true form has finally been revealed. Can't wait until next episode to see their fight.

Loved the episode! The Opening was Fabulous!!! The ending was great, except for the end with Naruto breaking through the wall, I wish it looked better. Anyways, I was just waiting for the ****storm to get over with so we could get to Kisame vs Killer Bee. And judging by the opening, there will not be any filler for a while. Maybe the pacing will go a little slower, but it has to start the Confide the Jinchuriki arc before the opening changes or else adding those last few scenes with Killer Bee and Naruto would have been pointless.

OP song was boring. It got good only at the end. OP had a lot of spoilers though.

Nothing special about the ED. The graffiti theme was kind of weird, though I liked how Naruto punched through the wall.

About the episode, Sakura sure was a

. Lieing to Naruto like that... Killer Bee vs Kisame so far was awesome though. It's nice to see that they used something else than the usual gloomy theme as far as music is concerned.

I don't know if you're a manga reader, but I can imagine that for an anime only viewer, that was a lot of information just coming out of nowhere.

It wasn't just a single spoiler. Maybe they're insignificant to you, but for someone who doesn't know all of that, it's a lot. Just place yourself in their place.

I love how they slide down the snow or really any/all of the snow scenes in the anime. They do a great job with the snow sound effects even when Bee was fighting you could see/hear him sloshing thru the snow.

To clear up the Sakura stuff, she lied to herself into liking Naruto, because Sai told her Naruto was chasing after Sasuke because of his promise to her, AND because Naruto loved her. Naruto saw it and rejected her, not to mention he wasn't chasing after Sasuke only because of his promise to her(although i don't think this was in the anime). I hated this stuff in the manga tbh, seemed pointless, but the anime it came across better with Naruto rejecting her. At least imo.

I don't even care about the Bee fight, just can't wait to see Danzo, its going to be ridiculously awesome...

Hard to believe they got to this part so quickly. But then they usually go through this stuff much quicker then the manga does since it usually usually takes up like two chapters or more. I didn't see this episode yet but I at least read this on manga so I already know whats going on. And the new opening and ending sounds really nice and I guess it looks like we will be getting to the stuff that happens right after the arc we are at now which is good so hopefully there won't be any fillers for a while.

Killer Bee vs Kisame fight is starting off pretty good. Good use of slow motion at times
makes it feel faster paced than the manga does even though it's probably the same
speeds. Looks like the preview for the next episode ends volume 50.

Great episode. The new opening looks BEAUTIFUL in HD. The ending is great too. And I agree with the spoilers in the opening. If an anime only viewer were watching the opening, he or she would be lost on what they were seeing. Good thing I read the manga.

Favorite part of the Episode/Opening had me laughing hard.

Episode Starts. Kisame and Bee square off for what appears to be a tough battle.

Opening Occurs. Oh look there is Bee chilling with the Leaf Ninja on a boat, Oh there he is again hanging with Naruto.

I wonder how this Kisame Vs. Bee fight will turn out

Spoiler: And since we are going on to the Killer Bee vs Kisame fight we should be on the Sasuke vs Danzo fight in just a few episodes then soon after that we finally see Kabuto again and he's even more messed up looking then he was the last time we saw him. I mean he even has a snake for a tail. O_O __________________
