Wild Guess, pls dont abuse me...lol

I'm guessing, what if Kakashi has learned Sage Mode somehow by Using his copy/ learning ability...so that it wasn't a risk to him although he has so little chakra.
I wont be shocked at all... i mean:
- This guy outta nowhere came out with Mangekyou which shocked Itachi

- Outta nowhere we see him with a Rasengan

- Later, we see him again open the 1st Inner Gate

He is the copy Ninja after all...[the truth is, i believe Kakashi is even a better copier with the sharingan than Itach... just because, he is able to carry out what he copies quicker and easier than other sharingan users i'm guessing]

Anyhow, if Kakahi should have Senjutsu, probably could help him sustain The MS longer...it wont wear him down so quickly...

He can copy hand seals. He couldn't copy Senjutsu.

Rasengan has no hand seal...

The eight gates is a general technique. Its not one specific jutsu I don't believe.

Rasengan is just chakra spinning.

Senjutsu is gathering natural energy. Which is immensely difficult.

u r contradicting urself...If u call eight gates a general technique, wouldn't that make Senjutsu a general technique too, since their both not a specific jutsu...(i'm not defending myself but you're giving references that dont justify your disagreement)

Senjutsu is gathering natural energy. Which is immensely difficult.
How much more difficult can it be than getting MS outta no where + for someone like kakashi who can determine the precise amount to take in and the process...(someone itachi recommends for "knowing a jutsu well")
If u tell me, it wont be possible for plot sake, (not to "commonplace" sage mode), then, i'd agree...

Not that I don't think Kakashi wouldn't be capable of copying it (he does seem to have excellent chakra control, and as noted above he really knows/understands jutsu), I don't think he would because of the fact that only a very select few with enormous chakra are capable of using senjutsu. So far, that includes one of the Sannin, a former Hokage (who is said the be the greatest of the Hokage), and the son of that Hokage who also has Uzumaki heritage.

Also, Kakashi has said himself that Naruto has roughly 4x the amount of chakra that he does. I think that fact right there (combined with the Toad Sage of Mount Myoboku [can't remember his name at the moment] saying that enormous chakra is required for senjutsu) would be the reason why he wouldn't be able to use senjutsu.

^ what he said except the 4th hokage was never stated to have learned senjutsu only to have known of it...yep only people with enormous chakra can become a sage...the thing about naruto having 4x more chakra than kakashi differs from what i read in the manga and what i saw in the anime which i prefer the anime he says he has 4x kakashi at the moment but if he wasnt holding back the kyuubi then it would be over 100x

Senjutsu requires immense training. Without any mentor that has mastered Senjutsu, there's no way he could've learned it. Plus he's got no use for it.

I would have been more prone to believe this if it were still Kakashi's year.

exactly, his regular chakra reserve is 4x times more and that was before he trained now its probly 6x more atleast with out goin kuubi or sage mode, that alone helped him become a sage. and kakashi may be able to observe the jutsu but that doesn't means he understands it. like how sasuke watched lee's taijutsu and couldn't fully copy it cuz his body wasn't trained to do it. nether is kakashi wit sage mode he doesn't have the training or the chakra for it.

According to Fukusaku and Naruto controlling Senjutsu chakra is an extremelly diffucult process. Even if Kakashi could copy SM, I doubt he could control efficiently without an expertise to co-ordinate him. In fact, I would say he would turn to a frog stone (just as Preta Pain did), the moment the three elements which are used to draw Senjutsu Chakra (Spiritual Energy, Physical Energy and Nature Energy) were out of balance.

@Jumpfest 2011 Kishimoto said he never got to the stuff for Kakashi and pushed it back to this year. So it's Kakashi's year again (fer reals this time.) unless he pushes it back again lol.

As many people stated before, he's just not capable of it.

That doesnt mean Kishi won't give him some insane powerup so he can spam kamui like hell around

nah....I like to think outside the box but I just can't see it. I dunno know if it's the kind of thing that can be copied. And I'm not sure Kakashi copied MS either. We don't know for sure how he got it. It's just widely assumed that he copied it. Also, I don't think Kakashi ever opened any of the gates in the manga. The one time in the chunin exams was just anime filler.

Anyway, just for the hell of it, let's say Kakashi can use his copy technique to learn how to collect natural energy.......he would still have to learn to control it and that's training you can't skip. Even Jairaiya couldn't control it well enough to avoid undergoing a partial frog transformation so I don't see Kakashi teaching himself how without turning into a frog statue.

are you saying that chidori is Rasengan with lightening manipulation? That's all I could take from what you said. If that's what you're getting at then it's incorrect. The manga doesn't confirm that he copied it but it's the most logical answer. It never explains where he learned it and Kakashi has copied "over a thousand jutsu".

hmmmm....I don't recall us ever disagreeing.

Yeah the amount of chakra Kakashi has is quite low in comparison to the other big players. I think it's fair to say that if he had a similar amount of chakra to Naruto, Kakashi would be a top 3 ninja.
