Honestly this movie had a lot of potential but it let me down. I figured it was going to be more horror based and such, but it ended up being a f****ed up version of Frankenstein. Only in Frankenstein....... Spoiler:

My Soul to Take 8/10
Pretty good movie, it wasn't scary but the story was interesting and kept me wanting to know how it would end.

Rise of the planet of the apes
9.499999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 999999999999999999999/10 it was really good the first half of the movie was overwhelmingly sad. ( maybe because I love animals) Aftr the apes got smarter it suddenly wen't from a sad movie to a violent movie. In the end the movie leaves it open for a new movie. Since this is a prquel it explains the setting up for the original. But it dosn't finish explaining it. That proves my theory even more see above. If you pay atention vary carefully it allows you to make a vary good predicyion of the next movie.

Batman (1966)
Pretty funny and very corny, but i really enjoyed it. And the acting wasn;t half bad. It maybe one of my favorite batman movies.

Movies I saw recently in theaters (the dollar theater to be exact since these two movies where there and I it was cheaper and I got to see them both the same day)
Cowboys and Aliens: ehhh wasn't as bad as I had thought it to be. But hey Harrison Ford makes a great bad/good guy. 7/10 Pirates 4: *sighs* I am gonna give this movie a 6/10 it could have been a lot better. AND the ending was predictable. Super 8: Honesly I didn't want to see this movie at first. I was like oh great ANOTHER alien movie. I mean seriously after I had seen District 9 which alright, CloverField which sucked ass, and then freaking Skyline which also sucked ass, and then Cowboys and Aliens, I had given up on alien movies. That is until I saw Battle LA which was predictable but so interesting. So I had a hard time wanting to go see this. But I was surprised. It was actually a pretty good movie. I give it 9/10. On TV I saw a classic syfy channel Halloween horror film. Night of the Demons... Sadly it is exactly what it is... stupid. Yet so funny to watch. It got me in the mood for Halloween. If you like blood, guts, and lots of sex this your movie. 2/10 horrid movie but the extra point for getting me in the mood for Halloween.

The Green Hornet 7/10
I liked it, it was cool and funny. I liked the end part where they were driving half a car through a building.

Role Models: 9.4/10
This could possibly be my favorite comedy of all time. I love the characters and find them entertaining. The plot was pretty good. The movie kept me laughing from beginning to end, even on my 3rd watching. I can watch this one over and over and over. I thought the acting was brilliant, and that the ending was fantastic.

It was a pretty good movie and the acting was good, imo. The Salem Witch Trials interest me. :3

The Lion King 3D: 1000/10
Just as great as always, but with a major update to the graphics. I found myself nearly tearing up in a few spots(and I never cry during movies.)

I had to think about this for a moment... I don't watch movies very often, you see. ^^'
Saving Private Ryan I'll give it an 8/10. It was really powerful and emotional and I had to stop myself from crying at the end. But there was way too much going on for me and I could hardly understand a words that was said. Still, a very good movie with great acting and a powerful message.

9/10 A very well-made historical movie featuring the Swedish conquest of Scania from a two-sided perspective. Although the Swedes appear evil at first, this is only the actions of a power-crazed general that plots to assassinate the king and take over one of Europe's most powerful empires. The movie contains many non-historical events such as a too early Scanian nationalism and a fictional assassination attempt on Charles XI, but is still a good story for anyone who likes thrilling plots and a destructive search for revenge. The only bad part of the movie was perhaps that it was too little action. The only major historical battle was shown as a few cavalrymen charging into a castle.

Contagion: 8/10
This was a good movie, yet completely predictable, but then again look at the subject. Most of us all know how diseases are spread and stuff. What made it interesting was it showed how fast a virus can spread and mutate. It also so the nasty side of human nature. Form a guy on a way mission to gain popularity and money but picking on the government, and taking advantage of horrible situation. To the way most humans would react to an outbreak of such. When locked down with no way out and food running low, people will do horrible things to others. Also fear will drive them to create the chaos you see in this movie. Now because of my background in Veterinary Technology I understood the whole movie, everything from the CDC protocols as well as the World Heath Organizations, to how a virus of such would actually mutate, and the first and most fatal areas it would attack. So for me I knew what was the real dirt in the story. Through out the movie they jump around from situation to situation. Starting with a wife and mother, and her son dying. This is where they begin the tracking of the virus. Her husband never gets sick, nor does the step daughter of the woman. So the movie follows them, and the CDC people, World Health Organization representative, and all the originally infected. It takes the bird flu scenarios, swine flu scenarios, and human influenza scenarios and combines to make a super virus. Slowly you are piecing together where this virus started and how it started. In the end of the movie it actually goes back through quickly where the virus began. The best line in the whole movie was: " Somewhere the wrong bat met up with the wrong pig.."

Ok it's been a while...
![]() The Howling Reborn 6/10 Oh boy a direct-to-video horror movie that happens to be low budget and with Landon Liborion from Degrassi and Terranova and Lindsey Shaw from Ned's Declassified I was strangely intrigued with this film. I won't bore you with the details because I can't really explain it without giving everything away. The movie is flawed. It is more like a Twilight spin-off as opposed to a horror movie. While I enjoyed Twilight this movie was far better in every aspect. The characters were likeable and the movie looked DAMN fine on blu-ray. But... if you want to see this movie you have to wait until October 18th... when it is officially released. I got lucky and obtained a copy early.

Ok I recently watch the following on DVD: A Haunting in Connecticut: 7/10 Now I saw this in theaters when it first came out. I just rented it for my friend to see since he has never seen it. I give a lower score then most because this was based on actually accounts that happened to a family in Connecticut, the problem is Hollywood went slightly over the top. Not that is was bad, I just prefer a movie that is based on actual events to be a bit more realistic. Next is X-Men First Class: 7/10 again an in the middle area for me. I never saw this in the theaters because frankly I was sick of X-Men movies. But it was an alright movie and you get to see how things started. Interesting enough to know that Xavier was sort of a ladies man and that Mystique had originally been with Xavier as not only his best friend, but his right hand person until Magneto came in and paired up with Xavier for a while recruiting mutants. It was also interesting that Mystique seemed to be a really caring character and loved Xavier. But she gave up on him when he seemed to not accept her that way and Magneto did (sort of). You also get to see how Xavier becomes wheelchair bound. Next was Thor: 7/10.. I am really getting tired of superhero movies. Although Thor is actually a god based in Nordic lore. He eventually will become part of the Avengers, thus making him a superhero... -.- Anyways since I am a big fan of Nordic Lore and such I liked it to a point. It was completely predictable. The best parts where when Thor himself took his shirt off... >.> (petty I know). Though Loki was sort of what I expected, however in Nordic Lore he was around for a while. Anyways all these movies are worth a rental... I am excited for Halloween, and as such I will be watch many ridiculous movies on SyFy and Chiller...xD BE PREPARED for the run downs...xD
