7/10

It was very humorous, and the characters were really original, but the plot was depressingly predictable. The redeeming bit was Miss Beans; she was a hoot and a half.

The Green Hornet: 8.3/10.

Great action, dynamic relationship between the main characters, and a dose of good humor. The only problems were the plot's predictability, and the lack of a certain reaction from the main character at the near-start of the movie.

The Good, The Bad, The Weird: 9.684/10

Some obvious cues from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, but the whole movie is fascinating and glorious. Lot's of action, humor, and all-round fun and adventure; and a plot that's deeper than one glance would have you think. Enjoy!

Spirited Away 10/10

This is anime film making at it's best. The story was just wonderful, the animation was top notch, and the music was great. No wonder why it won so many awards.

It's Kind of a Funny Story
8/10 really good, and kinda makes you want to keep going through to see what happens
though, it could have used a bit more comedy in it, but that just might be me

Battle: Los Angeles for the second time.... 9/10 the better of the latest Alien movies.
This is a typical end of the world by aliens story. Except it focuses on a unit of Marines who 's mission is to into a heavily infested by aliens area in Los Angeles to rescue some civilians. The military is attempting to save the city from these Aliens, because they have already taken out most of the major cities in California. The Aliens are attempting to wipe all of humanity out so that they can take over earth. Cliche I know...but the story line was awesome, the action is awesome, all together it is awesome. Anyways in the end the Marines, after losing many men and one civilian end up figuring out how to bring down the Aliens. The Aliens had an interesting weapon. The ammo they used seemed to literally burn away flesh like acid, or a phosphorous like stuff. It was nuts! I laughed in this movie, cheered, got upset, and actually cried. It has been forever since a movie made me cry. Go see it!

Dinner for Shmucks: 8/10

The casting was impeccable.

The acting was good, but lacking at times.

The characters weren't really easy to understand.

You couldn't jump in the middle of the movie and get it.

The comedy was spot on.

Steve Carell and Paul Rudd together is an amazing combo.

Had a perfect balance of comedy, romance, and action.

Awesome movie.

Suckerpunch - 9/10

Somewhat confusing, in the best possible way. They really went all out with their crazy action scenes which held entertainment value not just in the cool stuff that was done, but in the clashes of different types of "worlds" that just never meet anywhere else I've seen. (ie, samurai with minigun = win)

The movie caught my interest from the very beginning and held it until the end quite expertly. Adding in newsreels, headlines, advertisement poster and other such tidbits was an ingenious move as it captures the audiences interest by having them read the introduction for themselves. Like a good book almost, it has the audience narrate for themselves during the opening credits.

The bulk of the movie is slightly empty of story, however. Though there are obvious issues everyone must deal with, they aren't really explored. When informed by the movie that there are massive human hunts and farming, one sort of expects to see said hunting. And as for the gory bits, slightly noticeably unrealistic and the vampire cliches? Seriously? But all in all, I might watch it again...someday.

The Professional - 9.7777777777777777777093504540124580/10 (round appropriately)

I'm a negative nancy so we'll start with the negatives:

This was not an overwrought action flick.

This was not too romantic, but artistically speaking was very much so.

This was not preachy.

This was not chatty.

This was not hour-by-hour boring.

I'm no positive posie, but here goes:

There were gruesome death scenes.

There were touching moments.

There were creepy bits that had you wanting to look away.

Not much of a neutral natalie, but I'll chip in here, too.

It has Natalie Portman in it. Actually, that's the only tie to a neutral natalie comment as I can make.

This movie is awesome. Jean Reno is a serious yet uneducated Cleaner, seeking to help a wee lass escape her dismal family life, while injecting bits of off the wall humor here and there. One of Luc Besson's best films? Actually, I haven't seen enough of his films to qualify that statement. But it's AWESOME!!!

Guest stars Optimus Prime. Just sayin'.

The Final Destination: 8/10

Pretty decent plot.
Nice deaths.
Cool scenes of organs falling out of bodies.
Interesting visions.
Not the best acting.
Could have been better.

It was a good story line but it had some parts that were a bit confusing. It has good humor though. It's not a family movie either, I learned a new word that I should have never learned
