Mortal Kombat 2011

so, i pre-ordered the Kollectors edition of Mortal Kombat and was wondering who else was excited and looking forward to this game...it will be a great re-boot to the franchise by returning to the side scrolling 2D style without sacrificing the breathtaking 3D realism that we have come to expect and love from the series

I'm pretty excited. I'm not a big enough fan to buy it myself, but one of my friends is getting it, so I'll probably play it with him.

i agree, its gonna be HUGE!!! so whos your favorite character(s) going to be....?

oh btw, if your planning on pre-ordering, do it!!! its totally worth it, u gain acess to an exclusive scorpion costume developed by the mortal kombat team themselves, and he regains a fatality he hasnt had in years...and my favorite one too....the mask rip fatality where he takes off his mask to show his skull and then breathes fire all over you so as i said, totally worth it.

Like the girl.

She tosses daggers in your chest. Your opponent gets injured and stops. She walk walks over to kiss her foe and by placing her hand and their cheek. Like in the other games with the kiss fatality. She doesn't kiss the foe, but instead cracks their neck. Rips off their head and devourers all the blood and stuff in the person head.

I think i've been a fan of Mortal Kombat since back in the days of the old arcades where when I was between 12-14 I would made older kids mad at me for always winning. It actually got to a point, (when Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 was out) that the manager of the local arcade started letting me play for free since apparently "omg someone has to beat that kid" brought in a lot of money.

That being said, and it being over 10 years later (since I did buy MK for both Dreamcast and the MK vs. DC which was ...eh) I have reserved the Tournament edition with the fight stick! I am beyond stoked about that.

haha yeah, kratos is awesome, i dont have a ps3, but my sister next door does and shell probably get this game at some point...so im not worried, and im free to focus on my own copy....GO ME!!!
