Question on Konan vs Madara

Konan lost when Madara stabbed her with either what was a pipe or a sharpened bamboo stick. Anywho why did this kill Konan? I mean
shouldn't she just turn to paper? Or was it because she exhausted
her chakra and therefore had no paper powers left?

i wanna know the answer to this too. cause the way Konan died was just illogical. We know how powerful Madara is but with the way he killed Konan, it's just stupid. I was expecting a very big jutsu to finish her off, not an ordinary knife.

Wasn`t she about to do some unnamed Jutsu?

I think she managed to do it, just that it couldn`t be noticed, like Itachi`s gift for Naruto!!!

I think it has to do with the fact that he surprised her. I liken to Madara's transience itself. Madara can evade any attack, but he can solidify and in this condition, Madara can be hurt. See Torune infecting Madara's arm.

Moving on to Karin, if she was paper, she would have of course evaded the attack; however, she was in human form. It struck what vital part of her that it did, thus making it too late to transform into paper. This is true regardless if she did or did not have enough chakra to actually transform into paper. It is very likely she may have been out of Chakra given her 15 minutes fireworks display.

I think it's because of how she exhausted all her chakra with that huge paper jutsu that Madara just sent into another dimension. SHe looked tired as hell afterwards and that's what I think caused her to not use her paper technique at the end. I know it doesn't sound like a cool way to die, but it's the most possible way that I can think of.
