Shoushin's mobile cushion of Mana was suddenly halted by the tapping hand of Suiren, her voice strong and serious - a voice that he had only heard one other time- Agh... The hand that had been kept in Suiren's pocket was drawn out, gripping a heart-shaped medallion pressed to its palm. Her features were very serious, which had been for the most part unusual when she was speaking to this elf, but right now it was a serious matter. One that Ren could no longer suppress.

"Shoushin, you haven't been the same lately," she said with a frown. "I remember the night that Nick left. You saw me in pain, and thought, that you didn't need to feel anything. Don't try to deny it or have Ikidhori say otherwise. I can see right into your mind. It's currently as though everything within had been completely killed off, when it used to be a beautiful place filled with color." Taking a deep breath, Ren regathered her thoughts before continuing. "Your 'aura' has changed, too. It's become much darker than it used to be. I... I don't like seeing you like this, Shoushin. People need feelings. If they don't have feelings, they become empty, bland vessels that live every day as though nothing exists in the world at all. You... You need to take this back. I've felt like it carries the other part of you," Suiren finished, extending and opening her hand. In it was the medallion, the heart-shaped one that had a string attached to it.

"Take it. Please."

Shoushin took a step back- well, mainly, floated back a half a foot, still strong on his Manatic chair. As Ren thrust the Heart-shaped gem into his form, his mind exploded, remembering everything that happened that day, the day that Rune Boy had left, and to stop her from hurting, he had forced his own Heart upon her, sealing his fate as an emotionless Lost Soul like Ikidhori, knowing only indifference, free from both bliss and pain. His breath was growing heavier, though still shallow, floating back more, until as his skin made the sharpest contact with the glow of the Kokoro, his throne shattering into instantly-disappearing shards of ancient energy of the elves. He scrambled back a few feet on the ground before forcing himself up upon another plate of Mana, growing higher and higher into the air.

"That...that thing. The...The Kokoro. All it does it bring people pain...heartbreak, tears, loneliness, emptiness. Without a Heart, one can prevail. One can save himself...and I chose to save you, from that pain. That Heart has taken too much of a beating from both of our lives to be much use now. The Heart...you humans need it to live. It carries you through life. But then the ride's over, and it drops you off to die. What keeps you alive kills you. But not me. I'm different. I don't..."

Without a word, he sailed off higher into the sky.

Lily nodded "Yeah that was the night that my parents were murdered by dogs... That is why I hate dogs... With out Kara I wouldn't be alive."

It helps you to learn how to be a great person, and how to protect others from following the malevolent path others set before them!" In fear of shattering it accidentally, she slipped it back into her pocket, instead chewing on her lip again. "There are good things about having a heart! Like being happy! Nothing can make you truly happy if you don't have a heart! I'LL GET YOU TO TAKE IT SOMEDAY!"

Alucard made it to the village gates and headed down teh street to the village Tsukikage's mansion. He walked into it, "It has been so long, ever since that demon attacked," alucard thought as he made his way to her office and knocked on the door, "Miss tsukikage?"
