BFVT: R1: Yori Hayato vs. Devroux Alter

Location: On a pyramid. All sides of the pyramid are useable for battle due to the fact that the pyramid floats in the middle of a different dimension. The air is breathable.

Levitating on a pyramid in a pissed off mood already I decided to skip the theatrics and go straight for this kill. "Bankai: Choetsu Hikari" This gold light envelops the area completely and my SP becomes crushing. I then step out of the light with my blade now fused onto my right hand. My hair has gotten shorter and turn from black to gray. My skin tone has gotten lighter. My clothing also changed. Now mimicking an 2nd Stage Aizen but my eyes are black and gold. My voice when raised sounds like its being doubled by an darker voice. Seconds after emerging in this Bankai Form I take one step and pillars of my Reiatsu emerged all around me.

I then shunpo higher in the sky holding out my sword as I say, "Twisted Fantasy." This black energy rises up at all corners around the area like a massive black veil of spirit energy. The veil stretches upward to 1,671 Ft. in height. The column of black energy that surrounds you fully at all angles suddenly all closes upon you as your about to be engulf in the black columns of energy. Once engulf your body will rip apart killing you instantly. The weight of the energy is so great that it's constantly pulling you in. Trying to escape upwards to me, then you you would just be sucked in. This attack is very, very fast.

Coming out to one of the oddest places a pyramid could be located, I prepare for my fight against Yori in the tournament. There's not much to do other than to turn from my cat shape into my true human form. Otherwise I'm just able to mentally prepare.

My opponent shows up pissed for some odd reason and attacks me without a word. This guy is rude! He goes bankai, so in retaliation, I do the same. "Punish, Nekkyo-Tekina Miira-o," I say. This causes my twin zanpaktou at my waste to disperse and collect onto my forearms in the form of a black "fire". Around my wrist is the hilt of my blade, shining red, and the backs of my hands are clad with the same, indestructable crystal cylinder that the other forms of my zanpaktous have.

Once in bankai, my opponent is already above the pyramid in the midst of his attack. Above me, a black rectangle is moving over the entire pyramid enclosing me. I don't worry though, I actually smile at my opponent's weak attempt to kill me.

I can feel my body begin to pull itself apart from my core. The sudden change in my physical being hints at my opponent's real plan. His box is actually ripping me apart. In order to save myself I stick out my palm facing the ground and extend a ribbon to stab into the ground.

As soon as the ribbon hits the ground, circular pattern of black shows up around me as a sign that |||Corruption: Burning Cross||| is activating. Moments later a black fire shoots up out of the pyramid all around me acting as a shield. This extends to both sides of the pyramid leaving only a scorch mark. When it reaches it's full height after tearing through the energy box surrounding me, it sprouts arms that extend to tear through the other side of the box. The flames now look like a fiery cross.

They don't stop though. Each side of the cross starts sprouting smaller burning crosses until there is a rectangular shaped patch of crosses around me that tear through every edge of the rectangle. In a slight explosion, the rectangle that my opponent had set disperses into many smaller particles of reiatsu.

In order to gather what I can, I activate |||Greed||| and the crystal cylinders on my hands light up. The reiatsu around me gathers closely and is quickly absorbed by the cylinders giving me plenty of energy. My Corruption then nullifies any harmful traits within the consumed reiatsu so that I can use it without harming myself. The box was large, so I gathered more energy than I normally would and now feel even more energized than I was to begin with.

After my cross disperses and is absorbed back into me, I go on the offensive by using |||Vortex Ribbons||| and swipe my hand across my body. This sends a spiraling ball of Corruption energy and ribbons towards my opponent. With the cylinders on my hands I am able to guide the energy so it can't be escaped by merely running. If it hits, the Corruption will eat away at my opponent's physical being while also corroding his reiatsu.

The weak attempt at an attack is followed up by me sonidoing forward at my opponent and sending a downward chop with my right hand at my opponent's left shoulder. At the same time I send a forward thrust with my left hand in attempt to impale him through the summer. I do it in such a way that if they miss, my hands will hit each other. If my simple attack makes contact with a physical object, even themselves, they will release another |||Corruption: Burning Cross||| which I have made sure will happen.

The cross was large enough to tear through every side of my opponent's box so it won't be easy to run from. I do this in hopes of defeating him as easily as I had hoped though, with it being the infamous Yori, I doubt that will happen. I don't think it'll be much harder though. It doesn't look like he does justice to his reputation.

After my cross is released and gone away, I sonido back to the surface of the pyramid in waiting for an attack of my own to deal with. This should be fun.

I) When I release my Corruption: Burning Cross I am always engulfed in the flames. This means that an attack while I'm attacking won't work.

II) Like it or not, your last move was GM. It was still easy to counter though.

How exactly was it GM? I didn't time manipulation and I didn't control your movements. The black energy was not touching you was a way from you. That gives you prep considerable prep time to charge a defense before my energy comes together upon you. Stop complaining, you brag your the best and you complain about a simple move like that? Jun countered that crap like it was nothing. I'm sorry I will lower my power since I'm going to tough

Edit: To be honest your prep time to counter Twisted Fantasy is kind of long

it was kinda an auto hit. It was counterable but you made it so that he had no choice but to counter the move.

The move does too many things at once; it pulls the target towards it,has speed,and its size is unbelievable. When you say, " Trying to escape upwards to me, then you you would just be sucked in", it basically forces him to counter.

It would be one thing if your attack could fail to surround him,but as far as the attack goes, Dev had no choice.

That's a more blatant auto hit but it's like when u misunderstood my slime prison attack. I leave a person an opportunity to dodge it before it forms but it has to be done quickly. U said that attack was auto hit gm although there was a chance to escape before the walls formed

Yori, for reasons stated above, I am lowering your scores. While your concept for your offense was decent, your execution leaves a lot to be desired. Your attack is large enough to swallow up a massive area, it has a powerful gravitational pull, and it moves far too fast for my tastes. Still, it all would have been acceptable if you didn't make it so that dev would have no chance to escape. Fact is, this caliber of an attack would take a lot of prep time.
