No, most of them are horrendous!!!!
Ninja council series is just a fail platformer game series with ackward controls, unresponsive commands (well it does respond but sometimes it won't) and okay 2-D graphics. Ninja council 3 was suppose to be a mix between a fighting game and a platformer game. Well lets just say those 2 didn't go well for this series. Like what I said above, with also repetitive mission objectives and every character pretty much fights the same way and what only makes each character unique is the jutsu animations. Ninja Council 4 goes back to platforming roots with more issues than the last game. When you die in a mission, there's no check point so you start from the beggining of the level which causes a lot of frustrations and theirs only 5 playable characters. There's more characters you can play as in multiplayer mode, but they took out wifi for some odd reason so good luck trying to find people with this game. Ninja Destiny series is much more fail. It tries to mimic the Clash of Ninja series, but thanks to the DS limitation it can only use so much of it. Only good thing I have to say is the graphics.... thats it!!! The controls are so broken and messy that you can just keep on teleporting behind the opponent and attack them. And don't worry if it takes chakra, you get those chakra back by just attacking them. Plus all you need to do is knock the opponent down and hit him with a special attack before he gets up. It works everytime. Path of Ninja 2 ,never really played Path of Ninja 1, but I heard its horrible anyways and its only a direct port from the GBA to DS with touch screen function, is a little better compare to the other 2 series. Its pretty much an RPG. Thats right, a Naruto RPG. Though it does not have many of the RPG elements like mind bobbling dungeon puzzles (most of them require to use some straight foward DS function to get by most stuff) or a great story (must defeat an evil group trying to summon an evil monster) but it does get pretty deep when it comes to strategy part. Boss fights are pretty challenging that will require you to think about the actions you want to do and move. And the game support Wifi, though I don't know a whole lot of people play it or not. So yeah this is my suggestions. I didn't get into all the technical stuff because its late at night. Hopefully this might help you, but remember that its my opinion. So don't take it as a fact.

No, i would not recommend these unfortunately, the only good thing is the vast amount of characters. Other than that, theyre not worth playing. The game play is terrible in my opinion. And the story is quite bad as well.

The Ninja Council 1 and 2 are the best for the Gameboy and 3 and 4 are just crap. Now, Naruto Path of the Ninja and Path of the Ninja 2 are much better and never try Naruto Ninja Destiny. It's a knockoff Naruto Clash of Ninja for the DS

In my opinion................
I really love the Ninja Council series. The GBA versions are pretty easy, but the DS version is harder and still really really fun. It's a good game to have if you like games like Super Mario Bros. Path of a Ninja, in my experience with Path of a Ninja 1, has so much dialogue that you have to sit through and such boring (and frequent) battle sequences that I don't think it's worth the time. If you like a game like Pokemon (it's not half as good as Pokemon xD) where you have to walk around and find things, then you might like to try Path of a Ninja. But keep in mind, when you lose a battle, you have to go back to before you found whoever you were looking for, find them again (battling snakes and other ninjas and whatnot that jump out at random), and then sit through a very BORING dialogue that you can't skip. And as for Ninja Destiny...I haven't played it. In short, Ninja Council series, YES. Path of a Ninja, NO WAY JOSE. Ninja Destiny...???
