Why do people pick on and steriotype fans of naruto as "narutards"?

seriously, anime fans ALL OVER the internet keep preeching about "narutards" screaming ZOMG, NARUTO IS DEH BEST SHOW IN DEH WORLD!!!!! XD" but seriously.....I'VE BARLEY EVEN HEARD such things! i know naruto still has the largest fanbase in the entire world and (i'll admit) may have some obsessive fans but i think most of the fans get wrongfully steriotyped as narutards too much cause of naruto getting so much hate these days. i mean seriously, two people in my class hated naruto so much and yet i never made a flinch. i just ignored and move on, i just find it said how naruto fans get treated with hate these days and yet OTHER fanbases aren't!!! i just pisses me off you know? i could list a few categori's of terrible/horrible fans bases who are probably even worse than what people say about the naruto fanbase:

-dbz (oh god that fanbase is horrible, they seriously treat dbz like a religion too much!)

-evangelion (O_O.....if you think the dbz fanbase is horrible then you have not witnessed the eva fanbase at all......they sent so much DEATH THREATS to the creator after the ending!)

-i know this isn't an anime but.......sonic....just...sonic....(green eyes is enough to know why)

-hetalia (the fanbase is too much due to the anime getting overhyped.....)

-one piece (NO FLAMING) but even this fanbase isn't as stable as people may think. currently they're trolling naruto fans as we speak. NOT pointing this out to the NORMAL people who love one piece, just the tards in it in general.

i could go on and on but....lets just leave it at this. the naruto fanbase as a whole is not as horrible as people may think, maybe the fangirls but trust me it isn't horrible.

Not sure about the other fandoms,but from what I've seen of the sonic fandom,the most they do is b*tch a lot.And it's not that bad compared to others.
Smackdown vs. Raw fans does it much more than the Sonic fans.

well thank you for not at least empethizing with me on this. im saying its not fair that naruto gets most of the bashing but most OTHER animes don't. if they were equal then i wouldn't mind but i'm just expressing myself of how unfair the fandom can get these says. and don't go off saying i complain when there are others worse than me. i didn't even intended for this thread to call on/troll other fans of different anime series. i just wish you'd take my side for just this one time and understand how i feel towards other fanbases. they TREAT naruto fans like crap most of the time and just hate it because of the fanbase even though i have not even witnessed ONE comment of a naruto fan going all obsessive of naruto saying "OMG NARUTO IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN OF CRAPPY ANIME TITLES LOLOLOLOL". again, im not coming off to you like i want to start something, i'm just expressing my feelings towards other fandoms who pick on naruto fans for the lulz.

i myself am a bleach fan and we get alot of hate aswell we get tolled we have no taste in manga and other crap so i know what you mean people are gonna hate on everything eventualy we just have to do or best to let it go and move on my friend

My God...the Sonic fandom. I was once a part of it. THEY ALWAYS whine about Sonic Team's failures. Then again, I can't blame them, when abominations such as Sonic Unleashed PS3/360 are born. The game has fantastic graphics, but it's FULLLL of glitches. I'll be honest by saying that my PS3 actually CRASHED at two parts of the game, and it has never crashed before at ANY game.


On topic, I'd say that whoever categorises people as "Narutards" just because they like Naruto...well, the people who do that are idiots. Plain and simple.

But you have to admit... The 'definition' of Narutard fits this forum and 90% of his members, very nicely

And what Taker said. Stop complaining and deal with it. On top if it, Naruto is NOT that great. It is good, it has good moments, funny seense ect. But it's NOT the best anime in the world. There are BETTER animes out there. You just so closed minded and such a huge Naruto fan your not realizing or being truthful about the series. Like for favorite characters, you like them so you are going to say they are the best character and they could be anyone any time...
