Pat Burrell hits a solo homerun to save Time Lincecum from getting the loss, and cuts the lead to two to one.

The Los Angeles Dodgers hold on to beat the San Francisco Giants two to one.
Clayton Kershaw (0.00) gets the win, and SOMEHOW by probably some stupid, idiotic rule, Time Lincecum (0.00) gets the loss, which is utter bullshit. Jonathan Broxton (0.00) gets his first save on the year. Los Angeles Dodgers 1-0 San Francisco Giants 0-1

The Rays' Jeremy Hellickson has thrown his first complete game shutout of his career.
Since starting 1-8, the Rays have had the best record in baseball, going 22-7. After having the worst record in baseball, they now have the third best. The lead the American League East ahead of the almighty Red Sox and Yankees.

In baseball news today, the umpires continue to get worse and worse, seemingly every day. In today's Rays game, what should be a 1 run game, is a 4 run game, largely because of a biased home play umpire who will call balls on the Rays' pitchers on pitches they call strikes for the Cardinals, even if they are four more inches out of the zone.
And I, Maikeru Shinigami, have set a new personal record for number of curse words yelled at the umpire during a single half inning.

And now, the Rays are only down 5-3. Though they would be up 3-2 if the umpires wouldn't have sucked in the top half of the inning.
