Actually that'd be good since OPverse needs more new info and very few KH supporters go to the wiki or remember enough about it to help much, one being me. The only KH I've played in forever is 358/2 Days.

It really does, considering my memory of KH1 and 2 is foggy and I only know a bit about the CoM characters since I haven't played through all of that.
I haven't even played BBS or Coded so those are no-gos for me. |

Just make a page that gives some information about the series and where you believe it scales in terms of power.
Then you can make some character profiles. |

I hate speed calcs anyway :/
Sure, its logical - but its not like Kishi uses maths or physics in his manga. We should base speed off performed feats not speed calculations. And like you said Miles, 95% of people can't do them anyway. The majority of people who use terms like ' Supersonic ' , ' Transonic ' etc. don't understand how that speed was determined, they just saw someone else say the given character was that speed and so assume they were right. More to the point, since so few people can do them they can be useless in debates at times, as since no one understands them they can hinder ones ability at getting their point across. But anyway, deidara, I might join :o |

The only problem with powerscaling is that it's no less subjective than speed calcs. One character "keeping up" with another is used in powerscaling to say that character is close to the same speed as the other, but that isn't necessarily true. No human being in real life is always moving as fast as they possibly can, so if one character's speed has been quantified, it doesn't mean they'll always be moving at that speed. It just means that's as fast as they can go. Like Hidan keeping up with Kakashi. If Kakashi is confirmed Transonic, then Hidan keeping up with him doesn't mean he's Transonic as well. The same goes for dodging. Some people have a misconception that dodging an attack makes you as fast as it, when really you can dodge an attack and not be half as fast. It's depending on the attack's AoE, speed, and its distance from you. If the attack is 1 meter wide, you only need to move 2 meters to dodge it. If the attack moves 300 m/s, and it's 300 meters away from you, you only need to move about 2 m/s to dodge it.
Unless a statement is involved, such as "Character X is this fast" or "I'm surprised Character X is keeping up with Character Y", general powerscaling isn't much more reliable than calcs. People should really just cite speed examples from characters if they really want to say one blitzes another, that cuts out speed calcing and makes debates much simpler. (Plus, Hypersonic is a range of speed that's so wide and general you can't say one Hypersonic character couldn't blitz another. The same goes for most speeds.) @LT: Awesome. |

Well the movement speed issue is nigh unsolvable for most but the reaction speed one is reasonable enough so that it makes sense. Honestly the closest decisive speeds are the claims that instances of sonic booms indicate supersonic speed but even then those are heavily debated by a lotta people. |
