what seph said,allot of people do become couples on online dating,it may even lead to other bigger things,although goes the same for real life dating,they both go hand and hand though,so ones not really worse than the other

If somebody expresses genuine feelings of love, it shouldn't matter if you're all the way acroos the world, or you can't see somebody. All that matters is you feel something. And knowing that the person you love loves you back feels just as amazing as it does in real life. Regardless if you can feel them or see them, the will always have a place in your heart.

That has to be the most narrow-minded thing I have ever heard in my entire life. Absurd. Words are what make people's personalities. Picture it this way. I am a human being. I am invsible. You fall in love with me for what you should. My personality traits and my disposition. Not because I am hot, or some other shallow reason. Because the person has a good personality. Words portray somebody and their personality. Not looks.

Also, online people can say anything without meaning it. You can't read their actual emotions or spend time with them.

Note I said you can't read their emotions. You also have no interaction with them, so you don't have an accurate grasp on their personalities. A lot of people are much different offline.

But note that I'm not arguing for or against, but stating my personal preference.

I have to say, I really think real life dating is better than online dating, but there is something I've been noticing. With me and my girlfriend, we kiss and stuff like that. And, I have to say, it is really nice. But, also, I feel like I have to say that some of our more romantic moments were over Facebook or texting or talking on the phone. So, it is not impossible to express feelings and receive them over an electronic device, that I know for sure.
