Sometimes, I wonder why you people heavily wank on Gaara so much. Unless you idiots bring in proof that Gaara's sand is faster than Sasuke, then Gaara is not winning this match.

I just said that for the lols, but how would sasuke escape the sand chasing him? Gaara's sand was fast enough to get deidara's arm, Sasuke caught up too, but that was because he was using the curse mark. He doesn't have it anymore, so he has a huge decease in speed in this fight.

Sasuke is faster than Gaara's sand, that's how. The only speed feat that Gaara's sand has is it blocking that lariat from A to defend Sasuke.

I noticed you responded to me before so I'll just counter these points to make it more simpler.

I think you underestimate Sasuke's speed, this is the man who was keeping up with Raiton Armored A. Cursed Seal did nothing more then force out Sasuke's potential as was stated in the manga so even if he lost his curse seal as Sasuke uses his potential he gains that speed he had with Curse Seal.

Gaara's sand will be lucky to touch Sasukle because if Gaara uses up sand to try to fight Sasuke he leaves himself wide open for Amaterasu or Chidori variations. Gaara is not fast enough to avoid Amaterasu, Chidori Sharp Spear or Chidori Blossom.

You seem under the misconception that Amaterasu could be locked with Gaara's sand. What Gaara stopped was Amaterasu manipulated by Enton in the Kage Summmit. Gaara has no defense whatsoever for Sasuke igniting Amaterasu right on him.

Without looking into Sasuke's eye how is Gaara even supposed to know when Sasuke is about to unleash Amaterasu? His sand isn't automatic anymore. So basically he either looks into Sasuke's eye and get dominated by genjutsu or he doesn;t and gets fried by Amaterasu.

Susano'o can not be fully covered in sand like you suggest. Have you seen Gaara's amount of sand? It is very limited, to cover somehting as large as Susano'o it will need to be covered in a very thin layer that is easily breakable and by covering Susnao'o Gaara looses all the sand he has and in the end it will be a very poor strategy. We saw how Gaara's sand dealt with Susano'o in the Kage Summit while it was assisted by the attacks of other elite jounin, it did nothing. Susano'o stood supreme.

Do you remember Susano'o's sword from the Kage Summit as well? The one Sasuke used to effortlessly destroy pillars, the sand would easily get cut by that. Or the arrows could penetrate it.

Kirin is a valid tactic that people are discarding because of the supposed large prep time which is in fact false. All Sasuke has to do is launch fire balls in the air, then have the storm clouds gather and raise his hand down. Under his supreme protection of Susano'o it would be an easy ploy to pull off.

Another thing you wrongly assume in your arguments is that Gaara's supply of sand is infinite. You act like he can do everything at once with his sand. The reality is that his sand is very limited and using too much for too many things leaves him vulnerable and defenseless. Gaara being one of the slowest and weakest ninja would not benefit from being left unprotected against someone as strong and fast as Sasuke.

Other things to be taken into account:
-Sasuke's Hawk Summon gives him mobility into the air if Gaara decides to try anything up there.
-Sasuke has proven himself to be the superior tactician in his displays against Deidara and Danzo coming up with brilliant strategies to defeat opponents who could be seen as superior. Gaara has never made a strategy, in fact he's the one who has been defeated in tactical combat by Deidara someone Sasuke outsmarted.
-Lighting is superior to the Earth element, whether that applies to Gaara's sand is unknown though but seeing how easily Chidori pierced it, it could be a good possibility.

First off, there is no such thing as an Amaterasu Sword. Secondly, Gaara's Sand tanked Sasuke's Amaterasu, without getting singed.

It depends on how much prep time Sasuke needs, in order to summon his Susano'o. More so, it depends on how much durability Gaara's Sand has, in order to tank a Susano'o Arrow. It's unlikely that Gaara's Sand will tank a Susano'o Arrow, due to the speed, and the length of the Arrows themselves.

Also, Sasuke has Kirin, MS, and a lot more speed and lightning attacks. And, an incomplete Susanoo is more "ultimate" than Gaara's defence. A complete Susanoo would be even more so.

Gaara would've lost to Lee's Hidden Lotus had it not been for some random sand cushion and current Sasuke is leagues above Lee in terms of overall power. Gaara's sand is simply weak to Raiton, since Chidori was able to pierce it.

Gaara only caught Deidara because he was falling since he left his bird in Sabakuro No he didn't. After Deidara got out of Gaara's Sand Prison he made another bird and soon after that was when Gaara got Deidara by the arm.
