First let me say I'm sorry it has been forever since I've made some chapters for this story. A lot has happened in my personal life that took more precedent to take care of. But I can safely say that I will try my best to update these chapters as best as I can and make sure each chapter is better than the last one. Thank you to some of the people who have read my story and have supported it from the beginning. Now here's Chapter 12!
Chapter 12: Life and it's Surprises

Me, Freddy, and Stanley finally get close to The Dump after our trip to the supply store. It was a quiet ride to The Dump since each of us knew what we were going to try to do. In a way you could feel and see how each guy was scared, yet you knew that everyone was going to do their best to stop the issue at hand. I knew that since this was my problem effecting everyone I understood I had to end this at all costs. Even if it meant me being the guy who sacrifices everything...
Once we drive to the entrance to The Dump, I stop the car and look at Stanley who understood what was going to happen next. I saw the fear in his eyes but noticed how he wasn't shaking like before which assured me he was ready no matter what. I did a little pep talk to make sure everyone was okay since I could tell Freddy was nervous too.
"Okay Stanley, Freddy will have to tie you up right now but we'll make sure it's not too tight on you just in case something happens. It will be a simple knot so if the situation calls for it you'll be able to untie it quickly. You'll be okay man. Trust me."
"Thanks Johnny. I admit I'm nervous but I want to stop this as much as you since I helped hurt your girl friend. I'm ready Johnny."
"That's good to hear Stanley and thank you for helping me through out this."
"It's the least he owes you right Johnny-boy? Haha"
"You have a point there Freddy. Haha"
"But in all serious Stan you're a good kid. We'll make sure nothing happens to you. Even if I have to do something crazy myself. HAHA!"
"Well that's good to hear Freddy but let's hope it doesn't have to go there. Haha"
After this Freddy lightly ties Stanley up to make sure we didn't look suspicious we also blind folded Stanley with a light scarf that you could see through. I drive into the opening of The Dump and I see Lindsay leaning against her car waiting for us. I stop the car and everyone gets out. As Freddy acts the role of being the brute with Stanley we steadily walk towards Lindsay. Since I left my lights on I saw there were other people in Lindsay's car as well and wondered what this could mean. There had to be at least 3-4 people inside but couldn't see since the lights were too damn bright. A million scenarios popped into my head thinking what these other people were here for. Could Lindsay just kill me, Freddy and Stanley here to make sure we didn't cross her? Was this just a scare tactic to make sure we didn't do anything drastic? Or was this just going to be an "audience" for this supposed "drama" where she's the star role?
With these uneasy thoughts I couldn't help but give a side look at Freddy where he gives me the same look that I had which made me know that he had the same thought process as me. One thing that we made sure we had just in case everything became messy I got my father's hand guns and gave one to Freddy. Me, Freddy and Stanley stop in unison as we were about 15 feet away from Lindsay but not too far from my car. In a playful manner Lindsay starts talking to begin our "negotiations."
"Why are you boys so far away Johnny-poo? It's not polite to not be that far away from a lady friend you know?"
"Well let's just say Lindsay we don't trust you so much and we have to take precautions of our own."
"Eh, suit yourself Johnny-poo. But let me show you my 'precaution' since I don't really trust you or Freddy either. Girls"
As the witch yells her command and out come 3 girls in perfect unison turning around to see us. As I look at the faces and see who each girl was I notice Courtenay go back into the car and pull something out. I get an uneasy feeling once I realize that something was another girl with a bag over her head. She was bounded tightly and could see scratch marks and bruises on her arms. Courtenay takes the girl and puts her on her knees right beside Lindsay. Once she does this Courtenay falls back with the other girls. I look at Lindsay as I start to get an idea of who this unknown person was. I have sheer fear in my eyes as Lindsay gives a creepy cartoon smile as she reveals the bag from the girl's head. I close my eyes as a tear runs down my face once I see it's Rachel who's in front of me tied up. Lindsay starts talking after she reveals her ace:
"Why Johnny-poo, are you crying? Why, if I remember correctly when we were together you never shed a tear for me. Not even when I broke up with you."
"Well, for starters there wasn't anything worth crying over when we were together. And you didn't break up with me. I broke up with you since I realized I was miserable with you. And my last two things are you're a psychotic b!tch as of now and you cried when I broke up with you....Please get the facts straight on that."
"Well look who still has the attitude like the playing field hasn't changed? Maybe if I bring out my last ace this will get a serious reaction."
Once Lindsay say this she pulls out a small revolver and puts the barrel against Rachel's head. I immediately grab out for my gun when Lindsay casually says:
"Now I wouldn't pull out your weapon if you want our poor Rachel to live. Right now we play by my rules. If we do this we can all walk away happily.....well, maybe not for you Shiloh."
"It's Stanley wench."
"It doesn't matter once I'm done with you."
"Okay Lindsay, you just said this was going to be a simple trade and even then the idea of killing someone never came up. Why can't we just-"
"NOW YOU SHUT THE HELL UP COURTENAY! UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIKE NIKI!"
After Lindsay says this there's a look of terror from her possy as one of them musters the courage to ask:
"N-now what do you mean by that L-lindsay?"
"SIMPLE TIFFANY! I WAS THE ONE WHO KILLED NIKI BLONSKY!"
Once Lindsay let's the cat out of the bag all her friends start shaking with fear not knowing what will happen next. I was scared for them as well, but I was more concerned as the barrel of Lindsay's gun was still at Rachel's head. I look at her and she looks at me as tears fall down her beautiful face. I give her a look of reassurance showing her that everything will be okay. She gives a smile smile and lips:
"I'm sorry and I love you."
I lip back:
"I love you too."
I turn to see Freddy have Stanley slowly move away from this. As if he knew I wanted Stanley to be as far away from this as possible since Lindsay just went off into the deep end. Lindsay notices what Freddy is doing and shouts:
"Oh no no no Mr. Kim. I don't think you're going to hide our honorable guest right now. Bring him here a little closer...."
Freddy looks at me and try to think about what our next move was. I knew that if anyone was going to be hurt or killed I would be the one responsible for this. I close my eyes and the face that immediately pops up is Niki's. I knew then and there what I had to do to make this right. I gave Freddy a nod and he's shocked to see me do this. I wink at him since my face is turned away from Lindsay still. I see in his eyes that he knew what needed to happen. He sells the part perfectly as he looks disgruntled with me and pushes Stanley towards Lindsay and me. As he passes me I hear what he says and turn to him in shock. Next moment happens in perfect slow motion as Freddy pushes Stanley into me with one arm and grabs out the Winston gun. Freddy tries to aim the gun at Lindsay to end her in one shot. As he pulls the trigger I hear the noise everyone says sounds like an angry firecracker. I flinch and see everyone hit the ground to dodge any bullet if they were to miss. I see Lindsay fall to the ground as there is a hole in her right shoulder. I sigh in relief as I think it's over. Before I could look around and see how everyone else is doing I hear a thud near me. I look and Freddy is down face first into the ground.
Everything is silent. I can't hear anything, not even the scream coming from me as I shout Freddy's name. I run towards Freddy and when I turn him around and first thing I notice is the hole in his chest. There's so much blood already as I try to think what I need to do to save my best friend. Before I drift off thinking I feel a tug on my shirt when I see Freddy stare into my eyes. His breath is short and can tell he's struggling as he gasps for air. He smiles at me and he tries to say something. With his mouth quivering trying to say something to me I watch as his eyes close slowly. With a smile on his face still.
Before I can react at the lost of my best friend I feel a hot barrel being pressed to my head. I look up and there's Lindsay struggling to keep her focus on. She smiles at me as she talks to me:
"I'll admit.....I wasn't expecting that at all. Looks like he was a fool to the end. Ass-hole..."
"Don't say that about him you b!tch. How dare you say that about him!"
"But the biggest fool is you Johnny-poo. You had everything with me. EVERYTHING!.......Why give all that up?"
"Because I wasn't happy Lindsay. You became something that even I couldn't stand being around let alone think about being with....."
"B-.....but I'm the perfect girl. Why did this happen to me?...."
As Lindsay dozes off, I see she's at her wit's end before she's lost in the darkness of madness. I finally remember something that I wanted to ask her.
"Hey Lindsay, why would you do this? You could have had any guy in our school let alone the city. Why would you start doing all this?"
"Simple.......The one thing I couldn't have....was you. You were innocent, smart, handsome, and simple. It wasn't like you were trying to be extraordinary even though you are. But when I heard you were with Rachel and saw how happy you were...I asked what did she have that I didn't have? I had looks, money, popularity...but I couldn't get over the fact that you made her happy. I wanted to have that happiness. I wanted to be the princess that was swept off her feet by her knight in shining armor. But it looks like my knight in shining armor wanted to be with another girl. I just couldn't get over it....."
I stare at her as she explains this and think how she must be in pain right now. Even though I was still angry at her I still felt sorry that she did all this because of her pursuit of her own fortune. Before I could say anything, Lindsay finishes by saying:
"Right now I accept that I'm not perfect.....and that I won't have the perfect life that I want. I know some people can accept this.....but I'm not one of those people. Good bye John Chang."
Once she says this I feel the barrel of the gun come off my head. I look up and I see the gun against Lindsay's head. I have a look of shock as I watch there be life in Lindsay's life one second but after a loud pop I see them be filled with nothing. I look down as I hear the thud of the body of Lindsay falls.
Once this happens I hear nothing for what feels like hours. I start to hear mumbles in the distance until the sound hits me and I hear a voice that I've known forever. I look and see Freddy breathing and saying:
"I wasn't expecting that sh!t at all dude......that's really fuked up."
I feel joy as I finally realize Freddy isn't dead. I look around and Stanley is in a state of shock. I finally realize what still needs to happen and I tell Stanley to call an ambulance. As he's doing this I see the girls that were once a part of Lindsay's possy crying either of terror of what just happened or of the possibilities that could go against them. I try to find Rachel and she's still there on her knees. I could tell she heard everything that me and Lindsay were talking about. She gets up and come towards me. She sits next to me as I take off the rope that tied her. She hugs me as soon as the rope comes off. Once she's done she kisses me really quickly as what feels like forever since the last time I felt those soft lips. I look and Freddy is staring at me smiling. I can't help but scream:
"Why the fuk are you smiling for? You have a God damn hole in your chest because you wanted to be the hero! You know how angry I am of you?!"
"I know you're probably angry but think what will happen if my mom sees me?"
"I won't be there when that happens man. You'll have to defend yourself on that one dude. Haha"
"That's what I thought as well since not even my dad will be able to say anything. Even if he's in lawyer mode. Ha ha"
"But tell me Freddy, why did you say that before you shot Lindsay?"
"Because I get the feeling you might have to sooner than you think."
I get an uneasy feeling as the Freddy's words echo in my head. The words he said before opening up Pandora's box by shooting. They were:
"Don't worry about me man.....Live a life that's enough for both of us."

I am so happy that I have found this thread. I will definitely read all chapters but I think I will read it over the weekend because I won't have time before.
I'm not sure what was the last chapter I read, it's so long ago, I've grown out of this, sorry
Thankfully your writing skills are just as good as always, I liked reading that.
It's alright Fenna. It's my fault that I haven't posted anything in FOREVER. But I plan on finishing John's senior year and plan on making this into a good series.
