Naruto Tier List - Group Debate

There isnt much choice with the jins because we havent seen much of their base form.

Let me think about that.

Maybe have 2 versions of the kages edo/alive? They do have enough base feats for an alive version.

Then again i dont want people like pakura and gari that high in on the list.

Most of the top tiers are so ridiculously powerfull that they either curbstomp or restrain the edo without them having a chance of winning.

Maybe something similiar to that for pakura/gari?

We could just assume that they can pull all of that off in their living forms. The only one who seemed to be affected so much by it was Madara. he was testing all his haxxxx, while the other ninja seemed to act as if nothing had changed much.

I think the simplest way to do it is to assume they can still die despite being Edo.

Although not all jinchuuriki have been able to use host transformation freely without edo tensei.

The mid tier is pretty messed up IMO.

I moved Kono to the bottom of Mid tier. Sakura under Jirobo. If he's in CS2 Mode then there's not much Sakura can really do. He's essentially a better Sakura. He squatted Giant choji with one arm. I also put Young Obito(with zetsu) above Konohamaru but he could be higher. Actually he should be a bit higher. Also puy Izumo and Kotetsu above Iruka. Any problems?

Now back to Mangetsu and Suigetsu... I say they are above Hidan at the least with their hydrification. Don't think we've even seen either of them shed blood. They are also above Kimimaro...

Hidan and the Hozuki both have some of the best tanking/endurance powers in the series. The difference hidan has an enormous advantge in his attacking power mainly because of his curse.

While suigetsu doesnt have then attack power to warrant an place above hidan. And mangetsu is featless.

Everything is still under development :P

The only things which are fairly solid now are the kage/legend tiers.

Forgot to say i added : 1 Kikaichu to low tier.

Demoted both Kimi and Chiyo to high tier as they cannot beat hidan or the hozukis.

If your including feats in general, I think knocking back a tailed beast is a pretty good one One fitting of a ninja in kage tier.

He's supposedly a better swordsman than Suigetsu, and all of the other 7 swordsmen as well. He's pretty much a better Suigetsu.

And the difference between Hidan and the Hozukis is that Hidan can tank attacks, but still lose from getting dismembered or decapitated.

Yes but im not just gauging the hozukis against Hidan I also consider how well they would fair against the rest of the list and in that hidan and his curse have a huge advantage.

I think we should avoid hype. And mangetsu is already above all the other swordsman.

If we avoid hype then characters like SoSP would be demoted. I personally don't mind doing that but it would call for some serious rearranging.

Since So6P defeating juubi was an actual event and not hype he can easily stay there
Plus we now have juubis feats to powerscale him.

He may have been takin by a genin, but that genin essentially went super saiyan.

Now that i think about it, I'd like to keep it the way TBC intended but if you want to change the rules of it then I don't mind

@Sora: I can see taking into account hype and feats which would explain Tsume's place, but Hana is the same rank as Kiba and hasn't shown any jutsu besides Fang Rotating Fang. The only thing she has going for her is that she has more than one ninken and has been a chuunin longer. Kurenai should be higher than all of them due to hype since she is a jonin and they have to be fairly skilled in all disciplines. (If she were only good at genjutsu she would be a tonkubetsu jonin-unless her genjutsu was really, really good-in which case she should be still be ranked higher).

Edit: Still don't see how Tsunade is higher up than a lot of the people below her. How does she defeat SM Jiraiya, Gaara, Kisame, etc.? Jinchuriki are still too high. Most of them couldn't transform of their own will, and they're already covered under Tobi and Paths. Iruka should be knocked back down to low tier next to Ebisu. How would he beat Ino or Tenten? Also, to be nitpicky, Gaiden Obito didn't have Zetsu cells (if you want young Obito he'd have MS as well and would have to be moved way up the list).

We just rank the characters by strenght(well not just strenght but you get what i mean) not just the strongest.

Sakuras fight vs sasori puts her above hinata featwise in terms of speed agaility that and her destrcutive power put her above hinata plus she can heal herself.

Shino has both akamaru and kiba to worry about up until now we have only seen him against 1 opponent. And kiba overall has more feats then shino.
Kurenai - Kinda waiting for US reaction on hype before i begin moving kurenai and similiar people.
Shikamaru - We didnt. In that thread shika didnt have one day of prep.
Kidomaru - needle to the eyes?
We never have seen temari slices anyone to bits with wind or even cutting person. Not saying its not possible but im doubting here i dont think it could sever limbs or stuff like that. And hidan =/= a bunch of trees.
Tayuya - I try to look how well a character would fight against the rest of the list instead of just the one below so we dont get ridiculous ranks like suigetsu in high kage tier. And tayuyas genjutsu is much more advantageous then shinos bugs.
Sai - Has both more feats and versality then temari does plus he can fight from the air.
Jugo - Have to look up the resistance of his skin. Even without that jugo cant kill hidan.
Hozukis - Hidan cant die. This probably includes drowning hence him being immortal.
On Mifune - He can interrrupt ninja seals so the things you just said wont be happening as long as mifune has iaido.
Kisame - Either him or samehada would turn to stone from absorbing nature chakra. That and SM narutos taijutsu is also deadly no need to rely on jutsu.
Gai - Tsunade could always 'switch his controls' like she did to kabuto. GG gai. That and superior strenght and tanking and regen put her above gai.
Muu- kakashi can kamui the dust release projectile and after that muu himself.
Danzo - Depends if taking his arm seal thing off falls under the rules of prep.

But wouldn't Air Palms solve this overall? The attack can is not very visible and Sakura can not fight mid-range. Is this feats or who can beat who? Sakura is not significantly fast enough to hit Hinata. WIth Current War feats. Hinata was able to get in front of Naruto to protect him from the wood attack with time to spare. She kept up with Zetsu's and moved equally with neji to defeat the zetsu

but he needs air to breath so he would be knocket out. Hidan's kinjutsu is sloppy compared to their skillz and hidan cant get blood

samehada can sesne chakra and would not try to absorb so kisame would use Giant Water Shark

Hmmm forgot about the splitting ability. Moving Muu up.

I guess so but i dont see why he would even consider the sword(s) when he has nuke no jutsu at his disposal.

@Prince its a little bit of both. But obviously for characters like kurenai etc exceptions can be made. As Someone like Moegi is clearly not on the same level as kurenai.

Jugo - Then its a stalemate between them hidans still immortal.
Mifune - Remember the mifune fight. Mifune interrrupted any attempt at a seal that hanzo , someone who casually took on the 3 sannin ninja, made.

Kisame - Dont forget about narutos boss summons.

Gai - Shouldnt be a large difference. Gai isnt that fast kisame kinda kept up with him in gates. Tsunade managed to fight madara whos fast enough to react to BM.

I am not saying that tsuande = BM naruto But just saying tsunade has proven herself to be able to fight some of the faster people in the naruto verse.
