Proposal to modify prep time

Can a new condition of prep time be added to settings of battles?

Instead of prep time to just plan and make no offensive/defensive actions

Spoiler:

even though making a plan is a offensive/defensive action

Can a setting be made where a character can have something called like

"Battle Prep"-where the character can make offensive/defensive actions such as planning, making hand signs, having time to go into Sage Mode, or transform or prep an attack yet the character can not use/fire/aim an attack on the foe

thoughts?

and it was explained to you it was redundant also..apparently you don't understand the concept of OP fiat..you can make a scenario with different prep time settings

And I re-read what you said but it did not make sense.

Ex: Danzo using prep to unseal his arm or Konan making a paper bomb ocean is taking a defensive/action action


Tell me is Jiryria going into SM and preping Frog Song fall under prep time?

it's not taking a defensive action it's merely setting up the tools of the trade for use when the bell rings, given the action takes place after.

and..that depends on when he does it

going Sage mode would be fine...frog song prebell would not be- because that would constitute an attack

It's a very nice idea, however how would it work? What would the concept be?

I guess the only difference is Jiryria would be allowed to prep Frog Song just not use it until the battle starts.

Afterall in both
"Battle Prep" and "Prep time" they both have the word prep in it.

So its just odd how in "prep time" you cant prep frog song or other attacks.

^ See? That is why. Planning for things and team work ect, To prpe making things battle related other then stratigy is stupid IMO and is pointless... Remeber Mystic with your weapons and the Serpents Tail? How OP it was? That is how OP people can be in a BG fight with Battle prep.
