He is. But he does have some good back-story, Which is why I enjoy his character.

Itachi has the best back-story and he is cool, powerful and smart. That's why he is my fave.

I don't like Deidara, i think he's boring and his jutsu's are boring. All he uses is clay-based attacks. Not really amazing. But i respect him as a character and he must be decent to be in the Akatsuki. But i haven't seen anything that does show this.

^ ^ I thought Hidan was alright. But only because he was so psychopathic. The religious bashing got on my nerves abit.

Well he's really good.

But problem being majority of the members have hax Jutsu that would simply overpower a normal Taijutsu ninja such as his self.

The closest he comes to is Sasori, who still owns him via Iron Sand.

No doubt he is lethal without knowledge. Being immortal, highly resistant to pain and injury, and fast makes up for his weakness in the Ninjutsu and Genjutsu.

No doubt watching Hidan's movements and attacking style was very, very entertaining.

Yeah true. I never looked at it like that. Sasori would own him in a fight. But i still don't like Deidara, think he's worse than Hidan. At least Hidan was good to watch.

and Deidara in general is a very entertaining characters from Akatsuki at least and he's so original. Oh yeah, his jutsus are cool too. Deidara would totally pwn Hidan.

Haven't seen the Deidara/Tobi moments yet. Still working my way through the anime so my opinion might change on this matter. The only jutsu's he has are one's involving clay, not really cool. I think Hidan's taijutsu skills would own Deidara and all he has to do is scratch him with his scythe and Deidara is done for. A clay explosive won't do much good, Hidan is immortal.

you should watch them, Deidara is really funny with Tobi, especially when he's pissed at him XD
do you really think his Taijutsu sucks? it would if it didn't have a stat as 3.5/5 (it's ok I guess). Deidara is fast, especially when he fought Team Gai without arms and with just a kunai in his mouth and survived by almost killing them so I wouldn't say it sucks lol
but Hidan is quite stupid, yea, immortal, but Shikamaru pwnd him.
