LOL One Piece Ideas...

I was thinking about the One Piece, when it dawned on me... ~~maybe the One Piece is Portgaz D. Rouge's bathing suit? Sorry Luffy, turns out it was a One-Piece bathing suit.~~ Nah. (I did actually see a picture of Luffy finding a one-piece bathing suit in the treasure chest on DeviantArt, though, XD)

What if the One Piece is the next Pirate King?

Think about it. The greatest gift could be world peace.

The One Peace that the next Pirate King can give by bringing about the change of the world. Also, maybe the Will of D. is the will to survive an carry on the dream of World Peace that Roger might have wanted. Also, in this case, he probably knew that someone with the middle name "D." would take the throne and this would happen.

If this were so, it could be a really great ending to One Piece. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this, and what do YOU think the One Piece is?

I thought One Piece would end up being a metaphor seeing as how getting to Raftel means you've conquered the Grand Line. It would mean that you have your Nakama who have been through the toughest with you and that they are your greatest treasure. That and Roger probably left a message of some sort.

I'm thinking its treasure. Physical treasure and it would probably hold the answers from the Void History, or at least there's a poneglyph there somewhere.

All of the previous statements make sense when One Piece is a metaphor for something else. Knowing the depth Oda is capable of from previous arcs, it could be something really big. A poneglyph is a must though. To have them spread out in important areas throughout the series and not have some really important piece at the end of the Grand Line would just feel like there's something missing.

Roger left a note on the poneglyph in Sky Peia, which means that he could do the same on the Raftel piece. Separate they'd be two things, but together they make One Piece. So I don't necessarily think that One Piece is only one thing, but a collection of items that lead to something else. Peace or war are possible in this situation since the marines want to keep the Void History hidden, but if they're facing someone with enough power to reach Raftel, then fear could suppress them.

As a whole, I love how One Piece is a huge mystery. Right now it just seems like there's very little to tell us what it is, but I'd love to see it turn out to be something we saw many times before, as long as it's not just something as cliche as the "nakama being One Piece." That just wouldn't be an amazing end to something as brilliant as One Piece in my mind. It'd regress a bit into some Naruto-type thing.

My thoughts, yeah.

I thought of this when i was watching the opening song "We Are"(currently at this moment watching OP ep 535)

What if the One Piece was actually the straw hat
First, Roger had it, then Shanks, and now Luffy. It was passed down to the next generation of pirates.
And Luffy treasures it a lot
What if..the hat itself was the treasure?! Will of D!!!
I think the straw hat symbolizes something....

Pretty sure Oda said that One Piece is actually tangible.

Its probably the Poneglyph that gives the info on the Void Era...and there's probably some treasure..
