Details
There has been a series of deaths in a small, closed community in the city of San Francisco. Dead bodies are found in dark allies, brutally torn apart and souls stolen. The strange case about these murders is the strange draws and cryptic messages left behind after each death, as if the murderer was drawing with the cadaver's blood. The numbers have seemed to increase with a sudden appearance of a new bar in the area. The murderer only seems to attack men who are also reported being seen in this particular place.
A Kishin Egg is behind these strange murders. Shibusen Students will be co-operating with local law enforcement to bring down the menace. Report to P.I. Starling just outside the perimeters of the location for further instruction. Discretion is important on this mission, as the Kishin Egg is easily frightened off if confronted by authority figures.

Rewards
All rewards are given at the conclusion of mission.

As Kai Ryuu appears out side of the Area, He begins to look for his trusty meiser, which hasnt arrived. "Aww man what a drag." Kai let out a short sigh and waited for his comrad to come. As his meiser appears a small smile came across Kai's face as he knew the mission was about to begin.

As Kai greeted his fellow ally he noticed the man they was suspose to be meeting out side of the town. Kai started to walk towards the man with a small grin on his face "Hey you that old man we was suspose to meet up with" He said. The man just looked at him then said "Where is the meiser also." "Oh he is comeing."Kai poped off with. For some reason Kai already had a bad taste in his mouth from this man before the mission eve started. Kai then looked behind him at his meiser and let the two of them talk it out.

As Kai's meiser and the old man began to talk, Kai slowly sliped away from them to check on the murder sites hisself. As He approached the first one, It seemed to familer with a sent of blood and distruction. As he searched for clues he hardly found anything left of the crime scene. He let out a bit of a sight then said "Where oh where did that man go?" As Kai ponder he noticed a bar up a head, un known to him it was the same bar that was just recently put in. Kai slowly opened the door to see a few men havein their drinks. As Kai set down at the bar the bartender asks" What can I get ya??" Kai said, "water will just be fine for tonight." As Kai looked around the bar he noticed a few things, all the people in the bar was staring at him. This made Kai a little un comfortable. As Kai took his lass of water he took a few drinks of it and walked over to the Juke box and put a few quaters in it. He chose to play a some what rock son to down out his thoughts and decided to sit and wait for the last two of his party to come join him.

It was a friday afternoon when Ezio arrived in California. Having just finished a mission with the witch Vipera, Ezio was still had a few cuts and bruises. As long as he didn't have to go to class he'd take any mission to come his way. He walked down the street seeing an area around an ally taped off. He showed the officials at the perimeter his credentials and continued down the ally way.

"Whats up Ryu?", Ezio asked but the comment went unanswered. He didn't even hear it. Using soul perception Ezio sensed something wrong with Kai's SWL. It was uncertain about something. Without saying a word he walked off and into the bar across the street. Ezio saw a couple other men inside as the door open and shut behind Kai but couldn't sense any souls inside. This puzzled him.

"Do you have any pictures of the writing i could send back to the DWMA", Ezio asked Starling.

"Yea", he answered as he handed Ezio a folder. "We need to figure this out ASAP. The community is starting to become unsettled. I want this handled before the press finds out. The last thing we need is a serial killer around here." He gave Ezio a dirty look and walked away.

"So thats why Kai was distracted. There's something not right about this Starling guy.", Ezio thought to himself. "Well reports suggest that everything has gotten worse since that bar opened, so I'll just post up and wait to see if anything happens. Having Kai inside there might draw them out as long as he doesn't give away that he's a weapon or a student of the DWMA."

Ezio, being very fit and agile, pulled himself up onto the fire escape of the building across the street from the bar and climbed to the top. Being trained as an assassin he focused and recited the Rules of an Assassin in his mind. "Conceal yourself in darkness...quite your breath...seek a path to your target. Know your target. Be able to foresee his thoughts, and his movements. Defeat your target before he becomes aware of your existence."

Night fell and the police were gone. The crime scene clean up crew had come and taken care of everything fairly quickly since they wanted to avoid the press and, more importantly, questions. All Ezio could do now was wait for Kai to come looking for him and hopefully the keshin would take the bait.

As the Music played Kai just got lost with in the music.As he was listening he heard the gong from the clock tower. He slowly opened his eyes as he knew it was the time that the kishin egg will appear and attack someone. A faint smile came across Kai's lips as he walked outside like he was a drunk fool.

As Kai was staggering about down the street. He knew exactly where is partner was watching, This put Kai's Mind a little at ease,KAi continued on as if he was one of the drunk men that have been attacked and killed in the past. As He staggerd down the street he leaned up against the wall and slowly closed his eyes.

A Young Girl and walked up to kai, "Ummm Mister... Are you ok??" she asked. Kai eyes opened and looked at her carefully, "Why yes I am perfectly fine why do you ask??" The young girl just giggled, "Well you was pasted out there and I wasnt sure if you was dead or not." A faint smile came across Kai's lips as he scene this pretty young girl.

As Kai and the young girl started to talk he smelled an all to familer sent walking down the ally way where he was. As Kai looked pasted the young girl, it was the guy from earlier before. Kai gently stood up and put the girl behind him, "Stay here ," he told her with a stern voice. As the man got closer it was Starling, "It looks like your ripe for the takening!" The man snarled as claws grew on his hand and his teeth appears. Kai began to laugh and stand there. "Lets go then!!"

Kai started to watch the man carefully as he charaged at kai, Kai quickly changed one of his arms into its sword mode and locked it againts the mans claws. As the fight began to break out the little girl stood there scared. Kai and the Kinshin kept matching each other move for move till the Demon decided to attack the little girl instead of him. As he went to claw the girl appart Kai quickly jumped in the way as the enemies claws rip deep into his flesh and fell back. Kai quickly dropped to one knew as blood began to drip from his wounds. Kai looked up at the man as he began to laugh, "That all you got old man?" Kai said in his arrogant voice.

EziO watched as Kai stumbled from the bar and down the road. By jumping from roof top to roof top he was able to follow Kai. On his last jump Ezio slipped and almost fell.

"Real assassin like Ezio", he thought to himself as he pulled his body up. He looked down into the ally and saw Kai hunched over and bleeding. He began channeling his SWL into his palm as he jumped from the roof. He landed right in the middle of the two men.

"Omni Royal Flash!!", he yelled as he slammed the man in the chest with his soul purge technique. The man was knocked back 5 feet, but did not fall.

"Guess he's devoured quiet a few souls. Kai Enchanted sword mode.". Kai's body swirls into a black ball that floats to Ezio's hand. Once it reaches the center of his palm it spreads out into a dark black blade. The guard is black and shaped as a 8 pointed star, leading to a grey reyskin an black corded handle. Ezio looks up at starling and smirks.

"We both sensed something wrong with you the moment we met you. Although we doubted that it would be you who came after us.", Ezio said.

"I'm not a fool. Once the DWMA sent a meister and weapon I had to reveal myself. None of the others are strong enough to win." said Starling as he cracked his knuckles. He raised his hand infront of his face and his nails sprang out. He ran at Ezio with his hand out stretched. Ezio ran towards Starling with Kai's sword form held back a little ready to swing once in range of the detective. As they got within 5th of eachother string like forms shot up from the shadows and wrapped around Starlings hand and pulled him down towards the ground. Ezio swung the blade up and swing Kai up to meet the fallen detective. The sharp blade sliced right through Starling and before he hit the ground he transformed into a little red floating orb. Ezio reached for the soul and stopped.

"Looks like his buddys are crawling out of their holes Kai.". Ezio looked ahead and saw 3 more men walking towards them. The little girl stood behind him and let out a scream. This startled Ezio.

"Was that nessacary???", he yelled as he turned to look at the girl. "Don't worry we aren't going to let anything happen to you."

After the short little battle Kai and Ezio had more of the creatures came out and the little girl made a scream. Kai reformed his body back to his regular self and looked over the new enemies. Kai let out a deep sigh, as he already wanted to go back home and get him some sleep. "Kai looked over to Ezio and said So should we try out out soul reconasance??" A small smirk appears on Kais face as the enemies began to charge at him and Eizo.

Kai step back and infront of the little girl, turning one of his hands into a metal gauntlet with a kind of spike like blade comeing out of it. The first of the few men, charge at him and tried to attack the little girl. Kai took a fighting stance and thrust a hard punch into one of the mens abdominal area, quickly the man bent over in pain. As Kai just kicked him into the building and nothing was left but his soul. Kai let out a eggar laugh as he put head phones in and started to jump around like a boxer. While this is going on the numbers went from 3 to almost 20 men trying to feed off this human girl and the two DMWA students.

One by one they came at Kai and the girl and each time Kai would protect her with his power, but something was going wrong with these men. After Kai finish the last of the two Guys he looked at Ezio and said "Well I think I went alittle overbored." Just as Kai finished his sentence a huge fist knock Kai from the side and flung him into the bulding beside them. Kai slowly stood up and stared at this huge opponent. Seemingly it would of seem that the souls all came into one being. "Alright Ezio its time to try it out!" Kai Exclamed.

Ezio fought along side Kai fending off the corrupted human beings. He channeled his Soul wave length all over his body releasing small amounts in each hit he made on the opponents coming at them. He heard Kai say he went over board and looked at the souls around them.

"Nah really?", he said as a laugh escaped his lips. Suddenly all the souls fused into one and the newly formed opponent smashed Kai into the wall.

"Ok. Lets do it! Soul Menace!!!", they said in sync with eachother. "Rose mode.". Kai forms into a dual bladed back piece on Ezio's back. The blades extended off his back like wings. While in this mode their combined soul wave length allows them to create red energy blades that can be thrown, shot out, or used as swords. Ezio surged his SWL into Kai and together they formed 10 red energy sword. Ezio threw 6 of them into the giant Keshin egg as Kai shot 4 into it. All the swords hitting vital spots.

"One Thousand Royal Petal Funeral!", they say together. The red swords explode into a beatuful rain of red rose petals, the Keshin egg souls floating in the air where the giant corrupt being once stood. Their soul resonance rate lowered and Kai returned to his human form.

"Get home little girl, you shouldn't be out so late.". Ezio smirked and turned from her to face Kai. He looked to Kai to find that Kai had turned his arm into a blade and was stabbing it towards Ezio's head. The blade flew right by him and into the little girls chest. Ezio turned to see that her face had become slightly deformed and claws had formed on her hands.

"I thought it was weird for a little girl to be out alone so late. Thanks for watching my back.", Ezio turned and collected the souls into his flask and began walking out of the ally way. "Lets go Kai and maybe I'll feed you a couple of the souls I captured.", he said with a sarcastic attitude as he walked away.

He channeled his Soul wave length all over his body releasing small amounts in each hit he made on the opponents coming at them. He heard Kai say he went over board and looked at the souls around them. "Nah really?", he said as a laugh escaped his lips. Suddenly all the souls fused into one and the newly formed opponent smashed Kai into the wall. "Ok. Lets do it! Soul Menace!!!", they said in sync with eachother. "Rose mode.". Kai forms into a dual bladed back piece on Ezio's back. The blades extended off his back like wings. While in this mode their combined soul wave length allows them to create red energy blades that can be thrown, shot out, or used as swords. Ezio surged his SWL into Kai and together they formed 10 red energy sword. Ezio threw 6 of them into the giant Keshin egg as Kai shot 4 into it. All the swords hitting vital spots. "One Thousand Royal Petal Funeral!", they say together. The red swords explode into a beatuful rain of red rose petals, the Keshin egg souls floating in the air where the giant corrupt being once stood. Their soul resonance rate lowered and Kai returned to his human form. "Get home little girl, you shouldn't be out so late.". Ezio smirked and turned from her to face Kai. He looked to Kai to find that Kai had turned his arm into a blade and was stabbing it towards Ezio's head. The blade flew right by him and into the little girls chest. Ezio turned to see that her face had become slightly deformed and claws had formed on her hands. "I thought it was weird for a little girl to be out alone so late. Thanks for watching my back.", Ezio turned and collected the souls into his flask and began walking out of the ally way.
