Guns vs. Manga

Many people say that a single person with a gun can take out many people in Naruto, Bleach, etc.

While it's true that bullets leaving a gun are traveling at supersonic speeds, people never really take into account the fact that most characters from any series are at least faster than the eye can see, bloodlusted, they are gonna travel at them the moment the fight starts.

Just saying, it may be hard to shoot what you can't see moving.

On the other hand it's also hard to dodge a Hail of Bullets due to their AoE.

Let's say a Person fires a Machine Gun in a Horizontal line or just fires lik Crazy.
Bullets won't just go straight forward in a line but spread.
However a single Person alone won't do much.

Take Durability into account as well. Is a single bullet really going to stop the average Shinobi, short of maybe one to the head or heart, which would take PRECISE aiming on someone with peak human speed and reflex?

And it also depends on the gun. Like Vivi said, a machine gun will be much more effective than a handgun with a single shot.

kunais stop shinobi, a bullet anywhere will do fine

Bullets=supersonic. The majority of the Shinobi won't be dodging any bullets. The rest? They may dodge some, but definitely not a machine gun.

naruverse is maybe maybe not, but like DB verse bullets just bounce off soooooo its dependant on duribility

Luffy can tank a bullet but probably not a Kunai
So in that case, isn't kunai > Bullets an arguable thing?

Also since when in the hell has a ninja tool landed on someone successfully and done significant damage?

Since Danzo fought his Ambushers.
Or the fact that noone wants to get hit by them.

Naapa tanked a ton of uber-power blasts with less than a scratch, and the destructo disk at least managed to draw blood by glancing him, and even vegeta and naapa realized if it landed then it would've killed him.

Likewise, Vegeta tanked major hits like a x40 kaio-ken and left with a broken sholderpad, but yaj's sword was hyped to whisk through it like butter.

Even when they aren't rubber, cuts are much harder to tank than blasts. If someone cuts open your jugular, its harder to survive than getting punched in the throat (barring someone lodging your adams apple into your windpipe)

The reason why Luffy can tank a bullet, and not a kunai is because rubber is vulnerable to sharp objects. For instance, if you use a knife on rubber, the knife will slice through the rubber with ease. It depends on the character's weaknesses to certain objects.

Manga deals with general peek human entities.

Cannot shoot what you cannot see.

Also, in manga, there are people who have high durability.

only high tiers are barely supersonic, if a kunai can pierce him a modern gun will drive through any ninjas skull in naruto

They can dodge some bullets, but definitely not the bullets that are coming from a machine gun.
