If it was to spin the other way, would time go back or would nothing happen at all?

Well, I'm not so sure. Scientists till this day believes that if the Earth would've spun the other way, we would go back in time. Whether this is true or not, we don't know. We have no theories, and no proof to back up this claim. If God wants us to travel back in time by rotating the Earth backwards, then he can. I'm not so sure if we can go back into time. As I've said before, we have no evidence to suggest otherwise.

theres explinations for this but a base one is that things go from order to disorder.

a broken glass doesnt fix itself.
it cant go from disorder(broken) to order. if it did there could be a possibility of a reverse time


but a simpler answer is the earths rotation doesnt affect time

Correct. Unfortunately, Scientists till this very day are trying their asses off to disprove your claim. Also, they have made a few theories about reverse-time, and we all know that theories aren't 100% true.

Science doesn't consider the reverse flow of time to be of any significance. You wouldn't actually know if time were reversing itself, since events still would flow from one to another. Our perception of time going in a specific direction is meaningless. Think of it like a painting: looking at either the left side or the right side still leaves you inside the painting. Spacetime can be curved, and velocity influences the rate at which local time differs from remote time. This was proven in the 50s with supersonic jets and atomic clocks. However, simply reversing the spin of a body has no effect on the direction of time, although it may effect the rate at which observers on its surface experience time. That is relativity, and experimental evidence strongly supports this conclusion.

Looked at another way, if you lived inside a video, and someone rewound it, you wouldn't know, because all the events are connected and your knowledge of the future would simply become your past. The fact that cause and effect would be reversed would be invisible, unless you had the context of its inverse -- in other words, the experience of the flow of time inverting.

Which "scientists" are these? First of all, there are bodies in the solar system that do spin in the other direction, and time still goes on in the same way it always has. We've sent probes to them, and their internal clocks have not been effected.

There are thousands of Scientists in this world who are trying to prove pretty much everything that is happening to the universe. Besides, I wouldn't call them Scientists because they have yet to prove anything about reversal time. The only person who has the ability to reverse time is God. No one else. Scientists still have a hard time believing that. Too bad they have no proof to back up their claims.

Time is a constant so most likely it won't change. However, what would happen to the planet could be disastrous in your example. Fertile areas may become deserts or maybe it could start the next ice age. I took an Astronomy class where they mentioned that the North and South poles are slowly changing places. The earth's magnetic field changed with it. Time never changed in previous times when this happened and this is similar to your question. Hope it helps.
