im pretty sure the gritty realism is what made Watchmen so popular...but what do i know?

miss martian teasing wally in the last ep was jokes tho. she won't die. the fanbase of this show is surprisingly dominated by late teen girls that love to ship shiz, the creators won't kill their pairings.

Watchmen and Young Justice are two very very very different things.

Gritty realism is all well and good when your protagonist is a crazy man in an ink blot mask.

It loses something when your protagonists are a half human half alien clone, a 13 year old orphan who happens to be a master martial artist, an annoying Martian skank, a kid who can run faster than the sound, a girl with magic powers, a black guy that can breathe underwater and a chick with improbable archery skills.

As for shipping, if the internet is any indication, there is nothing teenage girls like better than man on man. Therefore, Superboy/Wally would get more fangirls than Superboy/Martian skank ever would.

she might be joining the team and Wonder Girl is likely to join the team in season 2. In the comics Superboy dated Wonder Girl.

final crisis. probly my all-time favourite comic. if the older comics hold, i dont think miss martian would be afraid of fire like j'onn since

All of Rocket's superhuman powers derive from the inertia winder installed in her belt buckle. She uses Kinetic energy to form sheilds, fly, fire energy blasts, and punch with her fists surounded by kinetic energy. Her weaknesses are attack that use little kinetic energy and attacks that uses other types of energy such as thermal or electrical.

her other weakness is having her belt damaged or stolen from her and having to have icon save her ass... not as bad as kryptonite tho lol, milestone comics ftw glad theyre bringing her a bigger role. just need a static cameo now n i'll be content.

the new ep looks like it might be engaging, some political-driven backstory at least...
