After looking at your posts, I think that that is because you have only posted one - liners and haven't helped anyone out.

For instance, painxkonan gave me rep for answering her question.

I give rep for help, hard work or witty comments.

How does Rep Power work?

Rep power is the amount that you can effect someones rep by. It is displayed below your avatar. For instance, I could give you three rep, you could give me one rep, and PriceOfDestruction can't give rep yet.

It increases for every 2000 posts, every 50 rep that you get and every year you are a member.

Negative rep works differently. You halve your rep power and then round down. If that is a bit complicated, look at this table;

1 = 1
2 = 1
3 = 1
4 = 2
5 = 2
6 = 3
and so on.
