Ok, so prop 16 is the legalization of marijuana. I think it should have passed.

I don't think it should have passed due to the amount of irresponsible people out there that will misuse it. It may not be as bad as other drugs but..it has huge side effects and can become addictive.

Legalize for 18 and older (as everything should be) and tax it. Make money. Shut down dispensories. Get people in trouble otherwise.

Honestly I couldn't care less. If it makes the country money then I'm all for it. But I won't be contributing to that specific tax because I'm not dumb enough to do it. (I mean no disrespect to those who do do it. I just think it's dumb.)

Regardless, it wasn't passed. It may have made it onto the ballot, but due to the apathy of the people who didn't vote for the measure, it died. Bottom line, the people that wanted it did not get out to vote. It's sort of a non issue for now.

Pushers don't want it legalized because it would be less profitable for them, but it's relatively harmless.

I disagree with the legalization. But people are gonna get high on it one way or the other, so why would we keep it illegal. That's not to say that it's not good for you, it's terrible. I disagree, but honestly, if I don't do it, I don't have to worry, so crack yourself to your heart's content. Leave me out of it.
