Toriyama returning to Dragon Ball?

I have little info on it or if it's been discussed here before but I have come with exciting news.

Rich Johnston reports this morning that manga creator Akira Toriyama is going to write some new chapters of Dragon Ball (also known as Dragon Ball Z in the United States). Dragon Ball originally ran from 1984 to 1995 in Japan, and Viz Media published it in the U.S. Johnston states the obvious: "Something that will make this event even more spectacular is a simultaneous fully translated worldwide launch of the new book."

I don't know if the links safe or how it relates to Viz so I'll wait.

I discussed it in AIM so I've calmed otherwise this would probably in all caps right now.

Wow, this is astonishing news. I never expected Toriyama to come back to it. Hopefully he doesn't ruin a legacy, which I'm sure he won't.

No sources?
Plus, Toriyama practically hates DragonBall.
Here are some other people talking about it.

As much as I would cry over it, this is probably lie. 's too bad, cuz I was almost in tears when I read it. No sources in it, nothing from Japanese blogs, and no announcement other than this random website saying this. This rumor also happens every couple years.

Guys, forget it. Even if it turns out to be true, I wouldn't get your hopes high.

Not, "Hate" but not interested.
A) He was basically forced to go through most of Z.
B) His kids do hate it.
C) Fighting just ain't his style. He likes his gag manga.
D) He's forgotten most of the series.

Despite all the recent interviews and DBO, he's still not very into the series.
