How To Deal With Awakening Spammers

We've all noticed it by now. There are quite a few awakenings in UNS2 that are very easily spammable, and that means that a match can go from certain victory to crushing defeat in an instant. Heck, even I've been guilty of spamming cuz it's so easy. That's why I'm going to be starting a list of spammable awakenings and the easiest way to counter the spamming.

The first 2 are just the ones I've seen the most so if anyone knows of another spammable awakenings then please let me know what it is, what's spammable about it, and give a method for defeating it. Thank tou for your time and remember, together we can stop the spamming madness.


4-talis/6-tails: This is easily a very spammable awakening. Usually you'll find that someone will spam chakra gun a lot so to avoid this you must immediately begin dodging left or right and wait until all 3 blasts have past you. Then make sure you're in close and use either a ninjutsu, support, or a paper bomb if you have it. Repeat this until you win or awakening mode runs out.

Susano'o: With Itachi's just make sure he doesn't back you into a corner, that way if you need room you can still chakra dash backwards. Go on the attack using both supports and ninjutsu. Keep up the pressure and don't give him a chance to attack! (This also goes for awakenings of a similar nature such as Deidara's C4 Dragon.)

Sasori: Sasori's awakening focuses on mixing waves of puppet attacks with fire attacks from a distance. I find that 2 strategies seem to work against this. You can either use RedLotusBlade's method (listed below) to rush in with a chakra dash and not give Sasori a chance to attack at all, or another method that I find works quite well is to continuously throw shuriken while dodging around him since this also does not give him any time to attack.

8-Tail's: 8-Tail's is basically a combination of 4/6TK and Susano'o. So combine the 2 methods above and you should be fine. It is also suggested that you keep your distance while dodging attacks.




That's all I can think of at the moment but please feel free to give me suggestions. Also if anyone can think of an awakening but not a way to counter whatever it spams then please suggest it to me anyway and I or someone else will work out a strategy for it.

Despite the fact that I'm helping people defeat my awakening, I never do successfully pull a win using it anyway.

Sasori: Sasori is distance. If he can get you away from him, he'll bombard you with puppets. Pretty much the easiest way to avoid this Awakening is to rush him. Sasori takes at least a second to actually send puppets at people when attacking, and that's just the amount of time you have to chakra dash in his face. Keep on the offensive and you shouldn't have much of a problem.

8 Tailed Ox-topus: Well, he's sort of a combo between 4/6TK and Susano'o. As with what he said, just combine the two above strategies for those and you should be fine. Distance is good for dodging the Ox-topus.

For sasori: you should be careful that he doesin't use the puppets in mid-air cuz its much faster.
Also his fire shooting attack is hard to dodge.

One way of dealing with ALL awakenings is to throw shuriken at the person while they try to awaken, or use supports. I fought a few people who tried to go into their awaken and I didn't let them get into it. One Itachi in particular gave up on awakening after seeing that I just kept up the pressure with shuriken. Also, when fighting 4/6 tails, all I did was keep ninja sidesteping sideways. I was halfway between the edge of the arena and the Naruto and no matter how many chakra gun volleys they used, I ALWAYS dodged them.

I'll take note of this when my shipment that was supposed to be here already arrives. :/ Anyway, I'll usually just drop out of a match if I'm playing a spammer in a fighting game. I'd rather not deal with them.

I can't really think of too many other awakenings to worry about...

Maybe Kakuzu? I dunno. You don't see many Kakuzu's online.

o man ive pissed some spammers off l m a o cuz they go into 4tk and i just dodge EVERYTHING, lol i can hear in my head the frustration when there win tactic fails and i kick ass. esp. with pain. its fun to dodge those attacks tho, i remember fightin a grab spammy sasori and upon awakening no puppet could hit me. it was epic dodging esp. with lag. it looked so sick, then i ran for the tensei and win it was awesome!

for deidara spammers, the easiest tactic for me is shino and spam back, lol. his projectiles are fast and the explosives cant get into combo. like when they launch grabbing bird and fly into air and keep comboing? my tactic makes that a fail all the time. i only use shino against deidara spammers
