The "Dividing Off-Topic" petition

Well, I'm going to go ahead and make a petition about it. The petition is for dividing it into three subsections, not sections of genre though
Off-Topic 1
Off-Topic 2
Off-Topic 3
Basically it would be a "choose which server you wanna be in" system

This seems rather vague.

What's the benefit of dividing it into three sections? Furthermore, what content do you plan on placing in what section, etcetera?

It'd be best if you explained reasoning for this, how it would help improve the forums and why it should be done, or rather why you think it should be done.

I'm assuming it's to prevent the rapid production of threads in one area and spread the threads out, which would also stop threads froM only living for a few hours before getting overtaken by other threads. Of course, it's most likely everyone would just go to 1 of those sections and the other two would go inactive.

I think more description is needed here, it sounds like an ok idea in principal, but what purpose would it serve? Is it to split off-topic into sub-sections? Or to just spread out the threads to avoid them being so quickly over run?
