Your saddest Naruto episode

The saddest episode for me was probably the episodes that Gaara died in and then he was revived. It was so sad, whenever I watch those episodes I almost cry...

When, Obito , Asuma, Jiraya , That frog guy , Gaara , ITACHI ( that was the worst )and Kakashi died. ( most of them came back to life though ) also the first time i saw naruto i cried , it was when sasuke left the village, and sakura confronted him. I had no idea what was going on but that was some emotional isht..

Asuma, Whenever he spoke his last words then that "Asuma-Sensei!!!" from Choji and Ino just made me tear up.

number 1 when jiraiya dies. see he didnt just get killed in battle but he got killed by one of his own students if he never taught them and just listened to orrochimaru he wouldnt be dead right now.
number 2 itachi's death it showed the true love for his brother and he died with a smile which is sad cuz he was happy to die. i didnt think itachi ever meant to kill sasuke, i think he had faith that sasuke would win and he would be released from his burnen he was carrying.
number 3 when they drain the jinchuriki out of garra and he dies.
number 4 when elder chio gives her life for garra and naruto helps by giving her chakra wich in turn is only killing her faster we knew it but he didnt he was helping a friend anyway he could.
number 5 no lie even though its low on my list i shead a tear when this happened and that is when asuma died.his speech was touching.
number 6 naruto's flashbacks man it makes me want to jump through the tv and tell him i'll be his friend.lol
thats all . i would have said kakashi but i knew he wasnt dead their was no blood when his head cocked back so i figured he used his mengenko sharingan. still kind sad when he meets his dad so i'll give it an honorable meantion.lol

*Spoilers* FYI, Kakashi did die, that's why he could meet his father, and also Tsunade sensed it right away and she stood up and crushed that wall on top of the roof and you could see her wiping tears when she talked to Choji. And also when Naruto came to fight Pain (and now because he is able to enter Sage Mode he can sense everyones chakra) he asked Tsunade if Kakashi was away on a mission because he couldn't sense his chakra, she didn't say anything, Naruto just said 'I see' but had no time to mourn, Pain was right in front of him. I was really shaken by those moments, I just couldn't accept that Kakashi is no longer....no, I'm not getting back, thank God he's alive x).

Jiraiya, Asuma, Obito - not fair . Itachi - sooner or later it was meant to happen, he planned it all along, but still sad. Kakashi, Gaara - died => revived, really sad but the joy after knowing they are back to life fixes everything x). I would pick Jiraiya's and Asuma's death as the saddest moments, and Obito's death really got to me it was strange, I just met that character and his death was horrible (he was just a kid afterall, and Kakashi's teammate and friend, and the fact he gave Kakashi his Sharingan, it's just...). I'm at episode 222 so I still didn't get to see Naruto's parents sacrificing themselves for Naruto's sake (I heard it will be shown later in the series), but I would include that too, well I don't have to explain why. Of course there were also moments that were really sad and touching (like that b**** beating up Naruto, well actually the fact Naruto letting her beat him up for Sasuke's sake, and many more) but the death of a character (mostly a really awsome and one of the best characters) is always the worst part of an anime...

I've just seen them and i thought the same. My opinion of Lady Chiyo changed drastically in the space of 2 episodes. The best episode in that arc was probably episode 31 "The Legacy". That's when Lady Chiyo actually revives him and she speaks of how every one that comes into contact with Naruto becomes his friend. And the Sand shinobi mourn her and then Naruto helps Gaara to stand up which i thought was quite moving because it's two jinchuriki standing together. It's a very moving and emotional episode.
Also when Sakura and Naruto are standing at her grave, and Sakura lingers for a bit, i thought that was quite moving.

Hmph, I didn't find the deaths themselves to be too emotional, the saddest parts for me were some of the pasts character's had, like Sasuke, Gaara, and Sasori.

Lol, it was a while ago but I think I cried during the Sasuke vs Naruto fight. well, I wouldn't say 'cry' but I definitely remember tears. xD

- Gaara's childhood. The way Yashamaru betrayed him was very emotional.
- Kakashi Chronicles. This was the only Naruto episode that made me cry.
