Why Dont?

I love these abstract titles of mine but on topic:

You have seen more then once or twice in a ark. The Big scale nuke them all dbz style large scale everything-destroyed attacks.

Among Them Are Chibaku tensei, Meis Mist , Meteor jutsu

But here is My question. why dont people who use chibaku tensei get scuked into thier own attack. Why didnt madara get hit by his own meteor. Why didnt kirin hit sasuke(ok he directed it but still it was a grand scale attack that destroyed the building that sasuke was standing on but not sasuke?)
Why doesnt mei get melted by her own mist. Why doesnt kimimaro pulling his bones out hurts like hell? Why doesnt kakashi suffocate while he hides underground?

etc.etc.etc.

Answer or discuss or add your own example that you would like to see answered.

Also why didn't diedara die from his own c4?

Anyways it's probably an immunity thing to certain jutsu. Like mei is probably immune to her own mist. As for kimmimaro, perhaps his body couldn't feel pain?

This isn't a plothole. I would think that it's logical for a character to survive their own techniques, otherwise there's no point in having them (unless it's a blatant suicide move like C0). Plus, they're imaginary magical ninjas. They can do anything they want.

Imaginary makes sense,but that doesn't mean a fire style user can spew flames on themselves.

Might as well post before people misinterpret all of those techniques completely, the last thing I want is for people to be misinformed because no one posted here:

1) Deidara survived C4 because he flew out of its range.
2) Madara did get hit by his meteor, because of ET he regenerated.

The rest of them(Mei's mist, Kimimaro's bones, Kirin, Chibaku Tensei, Underground jutsu) are just the mechanics of the jutsu to not hit/affect the user. The only one that could actually be questioned is Kirin but I'd have to re-read the pages to check what happened.

This is fictional manga after all, it doesn't have to be logically explained, but usually Kishi does a good job at not putting obvious plot holes or impossible errors. If something happens usually it can be explained by just reading the pages.

Other than that, yeah pretty much what Kuro said.

You're not Mei Terumi (though if you were that would be awesome and I would wanna hang out with you everyday). Some people naturally have immunity to their techniques through having kekkei genkai and such. Like in Kimimaro's case it's not supposed to hurt since the whole point of his KkG is to manipulate bones, lol. So basically, it's what Phoenix said..

And in Kakashi's case I'm prettty sure when he's underground there's some room for him to breathe there when using his Jutsu.

Healing Factor means u wont die doesnt mean that it wont hurt (id hate to imagine what wolverine and deadpool go through XD )
