id say majin either way, teen or adult. adult ssj2 gohan got smashed by fat buu, whereas vegeta would have beat him if not for regen, albeit with a suicide attack. also, majin vegeta surpassed ascended goku, basically on the cusp of ssj2.

Ssj2 Gohan is never as powerful as Majin Vegeta regardless of age, Vegeta would win.

When Majin Vegeta and Goku fought, they were both at the absolute strongest that SSJ2 could go.

The only time Gohan ever becomes stronger than Majin Vegeta, is when he gets the Mystic unlock.

Vegeta wins this. Like what others have said, he was somewhat even with Majin Buu if it weren't for regen while SS2 Gohan got one-hit.

Although character statements aren't consistent, both Goku and Vegeta agreed that they were much stronger than SS2 Teen Gohan.

According to game ranking in Bodakai Tenkaichi 1(dont care if inaccurate), Teen Gohan SSj2 is like 37. And Majin Vegeta is like 30 something along with ultimate Gohan. And SSj2 goku and SSj2 Gohan are in the 40's. So MAjin Vegeta is better

You can't use that as a valid debating tool.

Basically everyone said Adult Gohan was much weaker than Teen. He didn't train, got rusty, and let his skills diminish. I'm sure Goku said Dabura was around Cell's power and we saw how even they were/Dabura won.

The only adult Gohan that wins is Ultimate.

How can you really tell Majin Vegeta isn't that much more strong than SSJ2 Gohan

Majin Vegeta: 360,000,000
SSJ Gohan: 275,000,000

I can find his SSJ2 power level at that sage.

but Gohan's Zet sword: 360,000,000

Well seeing how the show is based on power levels I would say they do.

Vegeta wins this easily. Gohan couldn't give Buu nearly the fight Vegeta could. Majin Vegeta was certainly stronger then cell was and Gohan was even weaker then he was when he fought cell. by the way, those power levels were probably made by a fan, i wouldn't trust them.

The Buu that Gohan was kicking around withoiut going Super Saiyain > The Buu Vegeta sacrificed his life to destroy, which he actually didn't accomplish.

Dabura didn't do much better then Gohan did and Gohan couldn't beat Dabura even after he turned SSJ2.

Gohan beat the crap out of Buu after he got a powerup from the Elder Kai. This was a Buu with the absorbed power of Picollo and SSJ3 Gotenks. And he did it without even going to SSJ.

Meanwhile Vegeta fought tooth and nail against Fat Buu, and eventually sacrificed his life in a last ditch attack that ultimately failed.
