Because Shikamaru is my favorite character. xD I just like Shikamaru more, but I like Naruto as a character. In fact, he's one of my faves.

many reasons
1.HE talks too much
2. he is too much like a child
3. he dosen't know what he wants and
4.he is a little on the odd side
sooo he is not my fave character !

Personally I never like the main character of any series. DBZ, Fruits Basket, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, ect. Though I don't hate Naruto, there is nothing that I really like about him either.

Anyway I have a lot of characters I like but I think Naruto would at least make the top 10.

I don't mind Naruto, though from the Original Series he distracted and annoyed me some what, sure he was a good laugh most of the time but he did get to me a little with his immaturity back then and his apparent dumbness, though I don't think much like that now, in fact he is rather intelligent but lacks common knowledge that is obvious to everyone else. But even though that opinion of mine has changed about him, a new opinion has come forward of him for me which still vares me away from him being my favourite character still.
