Why Cartoon Network will never collapse..

The thread about the channel collapsing in the future, is out-of-date and not accurate now. During the time the thread was made, it was more then likely, heed upon, but now since Cartoon Network is changing and is now rebuilding, the thread about it collapsing isnt accurate now.

Cartoon Network can not collapse due to the younger age viewers supporting the shows that the channel displays.
Those who complain about anime not being shown that much on CN, should realize that it's a CARTOON channel. They primarily show cartoons more than any other genre of shows. Anime is shown more than the reality shows they air.
Most of the rumors that were made about CN, are true. So far, they did air a new series of Scooby-Doo like they promised. Beyblade came as well, like they promise. They are still working on the return of Looney Tunes. And, they are working out plans on making Adult Swim air at 9:30 P.M.
Naruto may have been cut on the channel, but there is still some sort of a chance that the show will come back on the channel. Toonami can possibly come back too. But, it will take some time of course.

Discuss on why the channel will not collapse. Post your opinions/thoughts on what you think CN will be like in the future.

Obviously. It will change, but never collapse because it's not like young children are going to "die out" or vanish. There will always be young children and they will always enjoy watching cartoons that we may not particuraly enjoy. Besides, a plethora of new cartoon ideas are just waiting out there to be created and young kids to be intrigued and amazed by them.

True. CN is very popular among the younger age viewers. Besides Nickeolodean, CN is watched by many kids around the world.

Well, here's the thing that needs to be addressed. When was the last time you heard ANY network collapse in general? I mean MTV has had nothing to do with what it was about for at least a decade. You'd think THAT should've collapsed loooong ago, and yet it is surviving off of Jersey Shore and god knows whatever the hell exists on that channel nowadays.

There's a great gameshow on MTV called Silent Library. It's the only show on MTV that actually has a point... But you do have a point here. Every channel is making enough money to sustain themselves or even beyond that. There aren't too many cartoon channels left anyway that are availible to everyone (without HD or On Demand). Nick, Disney, and CN are the only three I can think of...

i agree it does make me mad that the got rid of Naruto (and One Peice!!0 , but they DO still have FMA, Bleach, and Kekkeshi.

and even thogh we might not like the new stuff CN has, little kids do, and just all of the little kids will be enough to support CN, little kids will watch anything cartoony and funny.

but i do still have to say that its Cartoon Network, not Reality TV Network.

I agree. CN, to us, is a dead channel that has gone bad. But, you're forgetting the little kids that are here now. My cousin loves that Hot Wheels thing, Adventure Time, and Johnny (However it's spelled) Test. All the anime and good shows that we're used to got cancelled when he was born, so he's obviously not going to know them.

I mean, even though it's not the same one that I used to watch, I still bothered to watch Beyblade, and IMO, it was pretty good. (Though the voice acting...I still have to get used to it.)

CN isn't going to collapse, since it still gets TONS of viewers from the little kids of this generation. We may not like them, but they do. Nick, Disney, and CN will always have the views of smaller children for a long time, even if the shows in our opinion are crappy.

CN's financial status used to be low at a point they had to lay off a couple of people like the animator for the Powerpuff Girls.

i was watching adventure time and i heard a cuss word.....


so i came to the conclusion that adding a few curse word every now and then makes things interesting....plus adding shows that teens MAY want to watch based on eveyday life....

I agree with you completely, most of the people that watched the anime shows on CN are mostly teenagers now and the shows now are for the younger kids to enjoy

Channel can't collapse because of older viewers; younger viewers decide the fate. When younger viewers decide to hate their shows, CN will lose it's cool.
