bare in mind, No SM for Jiraiya, so Jiraiya was able to hold off against Animal Pain without being in SM

Kakashi, he held of against Deva Pain and took out another Pain.

Yes you do have a point, but, different ninja are better matchs for other. Itachi was god damn awesome. But you must know that Kakashi is very strong aswell. But yeah over all I think it would be a very, VERY good match. But hmm, Jiriaya has a strong chance of winning

true u have me there, but if i can recall itachi trapped kakashi in a genjutsu in their first fight and kakashi lost.. plus if u saw sasuke vs itachi he has the susano'o, amaterasu, and can possibly use the izanagi

Hmmm, you are right about there First Encounter, but then again, Kakashi was having to look out for Guy and that, but yeah he did lose. Whereas, Itach and Kisame fled when Jiraiya came on the scene. And Itachi did beat Sasuke, Sasuke won by luck. But yeah, Jiraiya is looking like he has a strong possibility of winning.

he has at least a 75% chance of winning, but then sasuke has sharingan but jiraiya held off agains three pains which im guessing is enough to push him so far

Yeah, but Jiraiya was in SM when fighting those three Pains, Kakashi Fought Deva Pain, and took out another, and held his own. But when you think of it this way, he had some info on the Pains, where Jiraiya had none, so.... yeah I agree Jiraiya has about 75% chance of winning.

nor is SM , so jiraiya is in base never showed any speed feats ,even with speed equalized kakashi has faster reaction speed , he can counter any move by surpassing it or using S. clones which he proved he can use to trick one of the brilliant enemies : Itachi ..

Yeah Kakashi has alot of speed in comparisen to Jiraiya, but, Itachi and Kasami are fast and they even say they are no match for Jiraiya, together, even with Itachi's MS and Kasami's true form. Kakashi can use his S. to boost his reaction speed, but still, Jiraiya is Very VERY strong, and So is Kakashi, but I still think Jiraiya will win but it would be a very veryy good fight.

When was this? I don't recal kakashi having taken deva path as well as Asura path alone. Kakashi never took out Asura path, choji and his dad did. Kakashi was losing against Deva path if i do recall to. The only time he took out a pain body which was already destroyed was Asura, so you really can't classify it as he took out another, also he was still alive to >.> so prove to me he took out a pain.

Hmmm, you have a good point :P I had completly forgot about Choji and his DAd being there, so yeah have made a very valid point

okay jutsu kakashi cant block Kebari Senbon... Jiraiya send it was almost instant.. and we still dont know all of his jutsu, kakashi is really good but would back down becuz his scared of jiraiya becuz of his experience
