Explosive Kunai

How do I switch to explosive Kunai in story mode? I have them, but I always throw the normal ones. I feel like I pressed every button.

1st in story mode you buy them from the stores where you can buy ramen,weapons,and scrolls.That's where you stock up on explosive kunai.Then in a Story Mode battle hit the button you hit to open the option to eat healt,chakra,or Strength pills.Then hit the A button to switch.

Yeah I found the answer on GameFaqs. I even looked in the manual! It was frustrating.

What's wrong with using Kunai? All the cool ninjas use them.

That's not true. They are some of the more damaging attacks you have especially if you have level 3 kunai and that scroll that makes them do more damage. They do like 55 damage which is way more than any of my attacks do currently.

With someone like Shikimaru or Sasuke who throws multiples you can rack up sick damage while keeping distance.

Also it's how you interrupt Jutsus.
