Name The Best Mangaka Ever.
My favorite is Yoshihiro Togashi. His pictures have such vast details, and his story lines for his stories are simply astounding. I can't help but say his name. Makoto Raiku is a very close second with his amazing Manga "Zatch Bell."

I gotta say Hirohiko Araki is my favorite mangaka. JJBA is pure epicness and it's probably my favorite manga.

Gotta be either Osamu Tezuka for the grand father tier, or Akira Toriyama for the more recent tier. The former invented modern manga, the latter invented everything positive about Shonen, including popularizing the fireball.

Can't say I'm well-read in the manga are, or indeed comics in general, but of what I've read, Tsutomu Nihei and the dude or dudette that does Tegami Bachi. Like I said before... Not well-read in this department.
 Feel Free to Pm me quality selections. Even were I to expand this outside manga, I could only offer up names like Bill Watterson, Gary Larson, and Berke(ly) Breathed.  Addendum: quality selections meaning a good manga/mangaka, not links to torrents or such. If I want it free I can always visit the Library
