Default Kenshin vs. Kisame

Kenshin Himura vs. Kisame. I know Kenshin isn't a Naruto character, but I thought it might be a cool fight. Kenshin uses his Hiten Mitsurugi style and Kisame can use any technique that involves his sword.

I think Kenshin will win this if he is at his best. His techniques are probably too fast for Kisame.

What do you think?

From the 5 volumes I've read of Rorouni Kenshin I'd say Kisame wins.

Kenshin is at best peak human, while Kisame can use chakra to enhance his speed and strength to become stronger then humans. With his monster strength he could overpower him and he could spam Suiton from long range or use his doton to go underground and do a surprise attack.

You might be right. Kenshin's overall speed should not be underestimated though. Later in the manga Kenshin uses a couple of very fast and powerful Hiten Mitsurugi techniques. Nine-headed Dragon Strike which delivers nine simultaneous strikes to different vital targets, and Dragon Flight of Heaven which is much faster than the even the previous attack, and can draw an opponent into a vacuum if they should manage to block or dodge.

Kisame would have an advantage using Suiton from long range or Doton to go underground and launch a surprise attack. But what if we restrict Kisame to have to go sword to sword with Kenshin at close range?

Hmm, then Kenshin might be able to win. I'm not exactly the best judge for this match since I've only read 5 volumes so Kenshin might be able to win with other things he's shown on later in the manga and Kisame in the Killerbee fight might show more impressive sword skills that could make him win, but like I said, I don't have enough information to be a proper judge.

That's true we'll have to see if he shows any more sword techniques in his match with Killerbee. There must be a reason why he's one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.

The thing right now that makes me think Kenshin might win is the sheer speed and power of his attacks.

Kenshin is a wandering swordsmen during the Meiji era. He participated in the revolution and uses a powerful sword style called Hiten Mitsurugi. It was one of the first anime I ever watched on a regular basis. I haven't seen the anime for a while, but you can find the manga at most book stores.

I enjoyed it, but it is not my favorite. It is the only anime that I actually preferred the English dub voices. I thought Kenshin's sword techniques were pretty cool.

I've watch Kenshin before. He was pretty good but Kisame has the advantage of chakra use. Kenshin can't fight if he's trapped underwater
