umm... you never know what Kishi is up to.

since Neji is considered to be a gifted Hyuga, it's a possibility that he uncovering byakugan's secrets. Plus with all those abilities Kishi added to sharingan(e/ms), it'll be cool to add some impressive skills to byakugan as well [to level out the difference between byakugan and ms,rinnegan]

then again.. it's only a possibility.

He seems to make both Hinata and Neji secretive. I've read things from Fan sites (like narutowiki or something like that) and they mentioned something called the Bankakyou Byakugan. That would be neat if it were real but until it's shown in the manga or anime, then it's only fanfiction.

Kishimoto needs to stop focusing on Sasuke and focusing on developing other characters.

For example the Hyuuga clan. Naruto has promised to help Neji and Hinata. However he is only conerned with Sasuke.

Exactly. Kishi is literally done with all the backstories and upgrades to the Uchiha clan, can we now start on something new? Well, when this arc is done or somewhere in the middle?

Sasuke is the reason why the naruto manga went down hill. Even though Sasuke does drive much of the plot and action.

I don't read the manga so I wouldn't know, but I agree with you zigzag. He provides action but the clan as a whole is receiving a lot of attention :/

It certainly would be pretty nice to see someone other than Sasuke have some sort of doujutsu, the Hyuugas and Sasuke are the only people left.

I'm sure he'll add something onto the Byakugan.. There's also a good chance it'll have to do with Neji and Hinata's specific type of Eight Trigrams. (For those who don't know, Hinata has the Lion Trigrams, and Neji has the Pheonix Trigrams)

It is possible, but I highly doubt it. The Byakugan is very different from the Sharingan in almost every possible way. Besides, we have never seen any evidence of the Byakugan changing or even simply having a different appearance, despite the dozen or so Hyugas who have appeared in the series. I'll have to say no.

I'm not sure if it's possible but I definitely hope that something like this would happen. The byakugan just seems way too underpowered compared to the sharingan now.

I think it is a possibility, but I don't think it is likely. There are too many other things that need to be wrapped up in the storyline already.
