I haven't watched Naruto for a while either, mostly reading the Manga now, because I am one of those that can not watch the Shippuden episodes on this site.

Though I own a DVD with the first 13 episodes of Shippuden, the network here that plays Naruto just finished airing the Final Episode of the Original Series.

Gaara is one of four of my favourite characters, but he is the only one I have much interest in, to start a Fan Club on him.

And I myself would be the same and try to avoid placing pictures of any Naruto characters on my signature, just to many regulations and such, though on my Desktop I have Gaara sitting up against a wall with his legs up and holding a red rose (In his Kage outfit, no hat).

i cant afford the manga
i only watched naruto with my brother who made me watch it then the chunin exams started and i saw gaara i was like O_O OMG HES AWESOME!!!
and i was hooked but lately i just kinda fell out of it i have watched all the EP with gaara in them though or i have tried to lol

and ya i would never put a image like that in my siggy i know better i like to keep the images i have in there lol

My sister and I went and spent over $320 on Manga at the last Armagedon Expo here, March I think, just to have the complete set.

I personally didn't like him that much at the Chunin exam but I understood where he was coming from, being lonely all his life, though now I absolutely adore him.

idk why gaara just seems so dark and quite even as kage

I would have to say that it is to do with, his rather unemotional life, at the beginning, I think he is still seriously considering all the circumstances of what has happened and has considered what has happened, in other words, basically, I suppose he stays rather quiet because of everything happened, and stays dark in a manner, just to appear that he hasn't soften at all, even know he has a better understanding now.

i believe as he gets older he will become open not necessarily soft but he will get better with his emotions
how many more times is he in the series?

any way ima go to bed i just got home today from camping so talk to you all tomorrow or when ever lol

I know he appears in the first 13+ episodes at the start of Shippuden, then again when there is a Gokage Summit, he sheds a tear there.
