Default who watched the watchmen?

Anybody here a fan of the movie? I never read the comic, but that movie was the best movie I've seen in a long time. soooo gooooood! Even though some people are saying "omg, the squid wasn't there!" I still thought it was great. That squid would've looked too weird on screen.

The real ending was that Ozymandias created a monster with a humans brain and who knows what else and basically made a giant one eyed octopus and he explains that when you send someone through a man made teleport the thing explodes and devastates everything so when the people see the monster after the explosion killed half of New York and the monster with it they will think it is an alien which would end all of the hate around the world and would in fact unite the countries against the alien threat

Yeah I think it was a pretty good read it has a lot more in depth stuff so you can understand how President Nixon got his third term which is not possible and some other things that you may not have gotten in the movie

I read the comic.
"And the money will overflow onto the streets, and the watchmen will look up and say 'Stop watching us!' and the fans will look down and whisper 'NO.'"
(Obscure references, YAY!)

I loved the movie, I went to see it with my dad and it was EPIC, I also read the comic, and so did one of my friends~ Personally I think the movie was easier to understand, also, SPOILER ALERT It was a nice effect that you saw the Comedians murder from a first person point of view~SPOILER ENDED
^-^
