NarutoRoxorz93 and Narutard93's Fantastic Adventure!
This here is a collaboration between yours truly and one my of bestest friends NarutoRoxorz93. I'll be handling the writing while Roxsaur handles the proofing and coming up with the main plot. (I epically fail at proofreading things and Roxsaur has proven many times that a writer she is not. XD Yeah, it's just better if you don't ask.) We got the idea for this story one day in class when I showed her a picture I had drawn while I was supposed to be doing homework the night before. From there this wondrous tale has been spun.
Now you're all probably wondering what the heck I'm going on about, hold your horses, I'm getting there. This story is about Pokemon. That's right, I said Pokemon. It follows mine and Roxsaur's characters all the way through the Heartgold and Soulsilver games. And before you Poketards come up to us and start complaining that this isn't how the games go, we know. We've changed a few things here and added a few things there. This is how we'd do things if Pokemon were actually really. I'm quiet sure you're tired of me babbling on about it now, so here's the story for you to enjoy (hopefully).
Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins!
"Ugh! It's too hout out! It's gotta be over a hundred degrees!" Erida grumbled as she moved the joystick around in a lazy fashion in her hand.
"So? What do you want me to do about that? Turn the sun off? Sarah replied, moving a joystick of her own with much more zeal than her companion.
"Yes!" Erida answered as if it were physically possible, throwing her joystick on the ground as the words "Game Over flashed across the screen.
Werre you even trying this time?" Sarah asked as she got up to tirn the game they were playing off.
The sun was shining with a bright intensity in a blue sky devoid of clouds in New Bark Town. No one walked the streets of the small town, it was simply just too hot. Next door neighbors Sarah and Erida had taken refuge from the heat in Sarah's room playing video games today. The two had grown up here all their lives and were almost inseparable. Many found it hard to believe that the two were best friends; they were as different as night and day. Sarah was full of optimism and shone like the sun. She loved animals and was quite modest and reserved. She had long blonde hair, fair skin, and bright blue eyes and loved the color yellow. Erida on the other hand took pleasure in destroying things and never learned the meaning of fear. She could always look at the glass as being half full and liked to cast a shadow on everything. Erida had short brown hair, tan skin, and dark brown eyes as well as liking the color black. The two now being seveenteen longed to leave their tiny home and seek the outside world.
"What do you want to do now?" Sarah asked, sprawling out onto her bed.
"I dunno," Erida replied staring out the window. Silence fell between the two onlu to be broken by the sound of Erida's stomach growling.
"Uh-oh! Sounds like someone's belly's rumbling," Sarah giggled.
"Yeah, getting my ass kicked in video games usually makes me hungry," erida said moving towards the door.
"You heading home then?" Sarah asked, propping herself up one one elbow to watch her friend leave.
"Uh-huh. Don't worry, I'll be back and this time I won't lose!" Erida called over her shoulder as she opened the door and walked down the stairs. Sarah flopped back down on her bed wondering how long it would take Erida to return. Knowing her, she'll probably raid the cookie jar, Sarah thought to herself. She'll probably find something else full of sugar while she's at it and come back wired and stir crasy. I guess we should play something on the Wii then next....
"Sarah! A voice shouted up the stairs.
"What?" Sarah shouted back down the stairs at her mother.
"I've got something for you!" Her mother answered. This got Sarah up and moving downt he stairs in a flash. She couldn't wait to see if her mother had brought home a new video game for her Erida to play.
"What is it?" She asked slightly disappointed not to see a box sitting on the kitchen table.
"This!" Her mother beamed presenting her with a small device.
"Omigosh! You got it fixed!" Sarah exclaimed as she took it out of her mother's hands.
"That's not all. Professor Elm wants to see you and Erida right away." Sarah was already out the door before her mother finished. She headed straight towards Professor Elm's lab, forgetting about Erida momentarily in her excitement.
As she walked though the lab's doors, Sarah was blasted with a breeze of cool air. Many aides were walking about from here to there with papers in their arms. She walked past the rows of bookshelves crammed with Pokemn books straight to the back. She and Erida had spent much of their youth pestering Professore elm about Pokemon, leaving them with the layout of the lab imprinted on their minds like the the back of their hands. As she got closer, she found Erida was already there, leaning against the wall with her hands hooked behind the back of her head and her eyes closed.
"What took ya so long" Erida grinned opening her eyes.
"Ah, Sarah, there you are!" A man in a white lab coat said standing beside a table.
"Okay, spill Professor, whatcha call us here for?" Erida asked pulling a cookie out from her pocket and taking a bite from it. I knew it! She did raid the cookie jar, Sarah thought to herself with smug satisfaction that she knew her friend so well.
"You never were the patient one Erida," Professor Elm weakly laughed. "My good friend Mr.Pokemon has made a new discovery. I'm much too busy to go out and see him myself. So I'd like to ask you two girls to go out for me."
But Professor, aren't you always telling us not to leave town without a Pokemon?" Sarah asked, wondering what all this was about, but equally excited about the prospect of leaving New Bark Town.
"Whaddya scared? Don't worry, if any Pokemon attack us I'll just beat them back with my fists," Erida said in that cocky way of hers, flexing a muscle. While Sarah had pursued her musical talents, Erida had studied martial arts in their youth.
"No need for that Erida. Pokemon are our friends, we don't punch them," Professor Elm chasrised for what seemed like the hundreth time.
"Blah blah blah, easy for you to say, you have Pokemon," Erida shrugged for what seemed like the hundreth time as well.
"Yes, and I'm going to loan you two some Pokemon so that you don't have to do anything stupid Erida," Professor Elm said gesturing towards the table where three Pokeballs laid. He pressed the button on the center of each and released the Pokemon held within, much to the girls' delight. Out popped a Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Chikorita. "Each of you may select one to accompany you to Mr.Pokemon."
"I want Chikorita!" Erida shouted leaving the wall.
"Iwant Totodile!" Sarah shouted as well boucning up and down.
'Take this with you as well," Professor Elm said handing them each a Pokeball and a map.
"Great! See ya!" Erida said picking up the Chikorita before rushing out the door.
Please make sure she dosen't do anything stupid Sarah," Professor Elm said, lightly smacking himself in the forehead and sighing.
"Sure thing, um, where exactly is Mr.Pokemon?" Saraj asked, yearning to follow after Erida.
"Hm, oh! Mr. Pokemon lives near Cheerygrove city on Route 30," Professor Elm said to Sarah's back.
"Here, take these! They're potions!" A shy aide said, thrusting two bottles of potions into Sarah's hands on her way out.
Sarah and Totodile headed towards the edge of town to find Erida and Chikorita already waiting for them. Erida held out a backpack for Sarah as she drew closer. Erida had a backpack of her own slung across one shoulder.
"Here, I grabbed that from your place and packed some things in there for ya," erida said giving the backpack to Sarah.
"But how did you have enough time to pack two bags?" Sarah questioned stuffing the potions into it and hefting the pack before begining to walk.
I'm ninja like that," Erida said as she too began to walk. "I think I', gonna call you Nikimu," she said looking down at Chikorita.
"Well, if you're namign yours, than so am I" Sarah said, taking a long look at her Totodile. "I think I'll call you Odairu."
The two Pokemon seemed to be content with their new names and walked besdie the two girls. They walked for a long while, chattering aboout whatever popped into their heads. This mainly consited of all the things they were going to do with their new Pokemon, forgetting all about the fact that Professor Elm was only loaning the Pokemon to them. As they walked through a particularly tall patch of grass, something rustled in the grass right in front of them. A pair of Pidgey jumped out in front of the two!
"Yeah! Now this is what I'm talking about!" Erida shouted with a huge grin. "Nikimu! Tackle that Pidgey into next week!" Erida shouted as she pointed towards the Pidgey directly in front of her. Nikimu seemed to have caught Erida's enthusiasm and eagerly tackled the Pidgey until it fainted, not allowing it to make a single move.
"Come on Odairu! We can't be left out too! You use Tackle as well!" Sarah instructed Odairu. Odairu, not being as passioned about fighting as Nikimu, was hit by the Pidgey's sandattack before causing it to faint.
"Alright! That was totally awesome!" Erida shouted, picking up Nikimu to spin and hug him.
"It's like we were meant to do this!" Sarah exclaimed as she squatted down to pat Odairu on the head. "Hey, I think I can see Cherrygrove City from here."
"Alright, let's rest there at the Pokemon Center before finding Mr. Pokemon," Erida said returning Nikimu to the ground.
The two girls continued towards Cherrygrove City as the sun began to wane in the sky. They reached the city just as the sun set and made their way to fing the Pokemon center. They healed their Pokemon and then set out to find a resturant for somethign to eat. Afterwords they made their way to a hotel to sleep the night away in. Both were much too excited about their first day as Pokemon trainers to go to bed right way. Eventually sleep overtook the two adn they dreamt of the legends they'd create, both blissfully ignoring the fact that these were only loaned Pokemon.

Re: NarutoRoxorz93 and Narutard93's Fantastic Adventure!
After resting the two girls set out towards Mr. Pokemon's house. They encountered more wild Pokemon and battled all of them to strengthen their own. Their journey there was rather uneventful and it didn't take them long to reach their destination. They knocked on the door and were greeted by an old man who introduced himself as Mr. Pokemon. He invited them in where they were greeted by another older man who called himself Professor Oak. After explaining that they had been sent there by Professor Elm, Mr. Pokemon produced a large egg and gave it to them to take back. Professor Oak also asked them to do a favor for him and help him complete his Pokedex. The girls agreed and each received a Pokedex and Professor Oak's number before heading back home.
The long awaited second chapter! Woohoo!
Chapter 2: The Birth of Two Legends
"So whaddya think is inside that egg? It looks really big to have come out of a chicken," Erida observed on their way back to Cherrygrove City.
"I don't think it came from a chicken, I think it came from a Pokemon," Sarah answered. It was decided that she carry the egg. Erida opens her mouth as if to speak, but is interrupted when Sarah's Pokegear rings. Sarah answered and has a brief conversation with the caller before hanging up.
"Was that your mom?" Erida asked.
"No, that was Professor Elm, he says something terrible has happened and that we need to get home right away," Sarah replies with a grave face.
"Maybe there was a fire, or they were all massacred, or-"
"Or maybe we should just head back and find out for ourselves. It won't do any good worrying about it right now. Sarah interrupts her friend before her imagination gets the best of her. The two girls quicken their pace and breeze right through Cherrygrove city. As they are about to leave, they are stopped by a young man with flaming red hair.
"Haven't I seen you before?" Erida asks him as they come to a halt.
"You got Pokemon, battle me," he answers.
"Hey! You're that kid that was snooping around the Professor's lab!" Erida exclaimed pointing an accusing finger at the young man.
"What kid?" Sarah asks, not remembering seeing anyone suspicious in front of Professor Elm's lab.
"Oh, that's right, I got there before you. Anyways, he was looking through the window and when I asked him what he was doing there, he tried to attack me. Naturally I was much faster than him and didn't get hurt, but I couldn't just let that go. So I proceeded to soundly kick the crap outta 'im. Looks like he came back for seconds," Erida answered with a cocky grin playing across her face as she rolled up the sleeves of her jacket.
"I think he wanted a Pokemon battle this time Erida," Sarah informed her friend.
"Oh yeah?" Well, Nikimu won't go easy on him either!" Erida retorted. The boy said nothing but brought out a Pokeball and released the Pokemon inside it. the Pokemon that came out was the last of Professor Elm's Pokemon, Cyndaquil.
"Hey!" Why'd Professor Elm give a dirt bag like you a Pokemon?!" Erida asked. Again, the boy said nothing. "Don't feel like talking huh? Well then, Nikimu and I'll just beat it out of you!" Nikimu, use Poision Powder!"
"Wait Erida, don't you want to let me and Odairu handle this?" Sarah asked, concerned that Erida had bitten off too much to chew. Erida ignored her and continued to order Nikimu various attacks. It seemed like Sarah had been worried for nothing, it didn't take long for the foe's Cyndaquil to faint. The boy tried to run away, but Erida jumped on him and wrestled him to the ground. "Erida! You already won! Let hims go!"
"Fine," Erida grumbled as she got off the boy. He recalled his fainted Pokemon and rushed past the two. "Hey, what's this?" Erida said bending over to pick up a small plastic card that they boy had dropped.
"I think that's his trainer card," Sarah answered looking over Erida's shoulder.
"It says his name's Adam."
"Well, let's just keep on going and see what's going on back home," The two girls walked home in silence. This was mainly because Sarah had to duct tape Erida's mouth shut in order to keep her from spewing all sorts of nonsense. Even though they tried to avoid as many battles as possible, it still took the girls the remainder of the day to make it back to New Bark Town.
"I don't see nothing wrong on the outside," Erida said ripping the duct tape from her mouth. "Maybe someone died. I hope it was that crazy old-"
"Look over there! There's a police officer in front of Professor Elm's lab!" Sarah interrupted pointing towards the lab.
"Maybe the Professor was murdered!" Erida gasped.
"What?! Why do you always have to assume that someone's dead?!" Sarah shouted at her friend. "Wait, don't answer that."
"Well let's go check it out. We must avenge his death!" Erida declared as she ran towards the lab.
"He's not dead!" Sarah shouted back, running herself.
"How do you know?!"
"Because there's no ambulance!"
"maybe, they already took the body away and now they're looking for clues!"
"Well then, why would he have called us earlier if he was dead?!" The two girls had stopped in the middle of the road to argue with each other.
"That's because he was calling for help!"
"Why would he call us when we were all the way in Cherrygrove City?!"
"Because he had expected us to be better than that and we let him down!"
Hey! You two! You know the Professor?" the police officer asked, interrupting the two girls.
"Yeah! What's it to ya?"Erida responded.
"Who are you two?" the officer asked.
"He sent us to go get something for him," Sarah answered before Erida could. Just at that moment Professor Elm came out of his lab.
"Sarah! Erida! You're back!" the Professor exclaimed sounding relieved.
"See! I told you he's not dead!" Sarah shouted at Erida.
"What?" Professor Elm asked.
"Erida thought that you were dead since she didn't find the town in a charred and bloody ruin," Sarah answered with a smug look.
"Oh, that's...err...never mind! Come inside you two!" Professor Elm ushered the two girls into the lab.
"What happened Professor? It doesn't look like anything happened," Erida observed.
"Some kid broke into the lab and stole my last Pokemon," Elm replied, worry obvious on his face.
Say, that kid wouldn't happen to have red hair would he?" Erida asked.
"You don't think it was Adam?!" Sarah gasped.
"Yes! He had very bright red hair! Have you two seen him?" the professor inquired.
"Not only did we see him, we fought him," Erida answered.
"You fought him?"
"Oh! Professor! I almost forgot, this is what Mr. Pokemon wanted us to give you," Sarah said handing the egg over to the professor.
"Interesting....did he say anything else about it?" Professor Elm took the egg and looked at it in amazement.
"No, but we met Professor Oak there. He gave us Pokedex too!" Sarah beamed pulling out her Pokedex.
"Really?! That's great!" Professor Elm exclaimed.
"What are we gonna do about the stolen Pokemon Professor?" Erida asked.
"Well, what can we do?" Professor Elm answered in defeated voice.
"We go hunt him down and kick his ass, that's what we do!" Erida answered with a look of determination rarely from her.
"Erida's right Professor Elm, the two of us can go search for him while we fill Professor Oak's Pokedex," Sarah added.
"Screw the Pokedex! Let's just find the punk and beat the snot outta 'im!" Erida rejoined. The professor chuckled and his mouth twisted into a smile.
"What would I do without the two of you? I want you two to keep the Pokemon I gave you. They seem to enjoy being with you. I want you two to go out and create your own legends in this world of ours."
"You mean it Professor?" Sarah asked.
"Yes, I really mean it. Erida, would you promise me that you'll at least try to keep yourself out of trouble?"
"Don't sweat it. Before ya know it, we'll be right back here handing you you're Pokemon back," Erida shout over her shoulder as she turned to leave.
"I've no doubt you will," Professor Elm said to Erida's retreating figure.
"Don't worry Professor; I'll keep her out of trouble. I've never seen her so determined about anything before. You can bet I'll be there with her all the way," Sarah assured before she turned to chase after Erida.
" What an odd pair of girls," Professor Elm said to himself before he too left the lab. That night Professor Elm slept easily with the knowledge that he had been there to witness the birth of two of the world's greatest Pokemon trainers.
