Debating Contest Matchups and Rules.

As most of the participants know, my new activity, the Debating Contest I am running, is due to begin on the first of June. You will be informed of who you are debating with in this thread, and you will be given the official rules.

Rules:

-You will all be debating on different days, that means that since the contest starts June 1, you may have to wait until June 20.

-You must have read the entire signup thread, otherwise you're bound to screw up.

-If one of your teammates doesn't show up, you will go against the team you were going to debate with, but that team is to nominate one of their participants to debate one on one. (You like mah changes? ^^)

That's all for the rules that were not covered in the Contest Signup Thread.

What? How can you disqualify someone simply because their partner is a no show? Your punishing someone for someone else mishap.

I think this needs to be consulted about.

What? How can you disqualify someone simply because they complain about not using a fair way to decide the pairs? Your punishing someone for someone else for your own cheating ways.

Sounds fair to me, just keep in touch with your partner until your assigned date.

These are definetly unfair rules. Not everyone will be able to be on the exact dates that you assigned them. In addition if one person isn't there it shouldn't matter, because the other person might be able to debate on thier own.

Your rules really need to be revised.

Yeah definitely not the best way to do this. I also like how Shikamaru set him and Miles up on a team, claims to have good debaters and bad debaters on the same team, and is facing a completely unbalanced one.

This has been brought up my multiple people, me being one of them. I also see this as a major problem, although it won't affect my overall performance in this competition.

Mr. Shikamaru the rules leave somewhat to be desired therefore please I beseech thee that you deal with the complaint about Lee aka Kittan aka Miles Galore being partner with you. It will bite you back. Also about the rules.
