samehada has shown to move, and make noises on its own free will.. showing how it is its own being, and has funneled chakra into other beings as well.

Samehada has never done that in the series so far, so you can't prove that he can do it.

Itachi would win. Kisame has shown no resistance to Genjutsu, so he would not be able to avoid Tsukuyomi. Itachi can cast Genjustu with just his finger. And I do not think Samehada can absorb Amaterasu or Susanoo.

Kisame vs itachi fights almost always end in a tie, with itachi being the most likely victor. Here's why:

Ammy: Water spam could stall the ammy while kisame fuses with sameheda. At that point he is fast enough to dodge ammy (assuming he spammed enough water to swim in). Also there is the theory that sameheda could absorb ammy. Ammy is in essence chalkra, which sameheda can absorb. But the counter-agruement to this is that since sameheda doesn't have feats actually showing this that it shouldn't count. Meh

Tsuki-Tsuki is genjutsu. Genjutsu can be broken out of if an outside source releases chalkra into your body. Sameheda has been shown to flow chalkra into kisame before. So, in theory, sameheda can break kisame out of genjutsu. However once again people will argue that since this has never been proven by feats, that it shouldn't count. Which isn't a great comeback.....but whatever.

Susano'o-The problem with itachi using susano'o is that it drains his stamina at an incredible rate. Upon seeing susano'o if kisame was smart enough to spam water then he would be able to fuse with sameheda and then have the speed to dodge susano'o until itachi runs out of stamina. Itachi's susano'o doesn't have great speed feats, it did a nice job against hydra, but hydra was a huge target with his size and multiple heads, so it wasn't hard to hit to begin with. I honestly don't see any way for itachi to beat kisame using susano'o, as kisame could just avoid it until itachi runs out of stamina.

The reason i listed itachi's MS techs only is that all of his other techs shouldn't be much of a problem. Kisame had the speed to keep up with killer bee fairly well, and 30% kisame kept up with base guy. So dodging itachi's taijutsu and shadow clones shouldn't be a problem.

Also, water dome gives kisame a possible kill move against itachi, since if itachi gets caught in the water dome he has virtually nothing to save himself with before he gets speedblitzed by kisameheda in the water.

I never pick sides in itachi vs kisame battles. Simply because depending on how you view feats and their uses, either participant could win this battle. So saying "itachi owns because kisame said itachi was better" means nothing. Going off feats it is one of the most even matches in all of naruto. Like i said in the beginning, itachi generally wins since too many of kisame's defenses have never been "proven" even though in theory they have.

This is true that the OP didn't say Kisame has the Samhanda but lets say he does.

Tsukuyomi kills Kisame because it's not regular genjutsu and remember in the beginning of Shippuden when Chiyo said you can be touched by someone and the genjutsu will fade than Kakashi said that doesn't work with Tsukuyomi. Also Danzo said Itachi's Tsukuyomi was better than Sasuke's because it could do something more like how it bended the opponents judgement of time.

But dont you remember after Kisame got hit by KB's 7 Tails Ver.2 when he fused w/ Samahada he stated that He becomes as powerful as his opponite.

very few people in this debate (besides the two or three above me) are giving kisame any credit. susanoo doesnt work against kisame, who could dodge or absorb it with one touch. water orb and regeneration roflstomp itachi. whats itachi gonna do once susanoo's gone and a giant water orb of condensed death is heading at him? get killed, thats what. kisame said itachi was stronger in part one, before their true powers were revealed and besides, spoken word mean almost nothing in debates. kisame wins. the logical reasons as to why itachi's other moves wouldnt work have already been stated a few posts above me.

i think if kisame uses water dome then infuses with samaheada (or whatever his sword is) he wins, but if itachi starts with susanoo, he wins

I don't think that a difinitive winner could really be named in my opinion. Susano hasn't really shown how fast or slow it is (as far as I remember), Kisame could probably absorb Susano, but Susano has an unspecified speed and a range advantage, as far as I know, Kisame hasn't been hit with a genjutsu, so I don't know if he can break free or not using Samehada, and I don't know if Amaterasu would do anything to Kisame. The only definites in this whole thing are: If Itachi gets caught in the water orb, Kisame can speed blitz him into oblivion. and, according to the naruto wiki, Zetsu said that the Totsuka Sword combined with the Yata mirror essentially makes Susanoo invincible, and it has thus been labeled as the "Raging God of Battle". It seems to me that whoever got to use their biggest move first, wins. (assuming the water orb/shark form is Kisame's biggest)
I might say Kisame, simply because the upper limits of his jutsus/powers have not been defined.

Ammy and and Susanoo is still causing major difficulties to Kisame,however if Itachi tried anything else other than those abilities , he'd probably lose eventually.

Though Itachi has the Jutsu to win.
