Akatsuki vs Straw Hat Team

The two teams include:

Deidara
Hidan
Kakuzu
Hoshigaki Kisame
Sasori
Uchiha Itachi
Pein
Orochimaru

vs

Roronoa Zoro
Nami
Usopp
Sanji
Tony Tony Chopper
Nico Robin
Franky
Brook
Luffy

The battle can take place anywhere in One Piece, Naruto, or the Real World. If this battle is a stomp for either sides, how could the teams be balanced out?

EDIT: Speed is equalized if the OP team has too much of a speed advantage.

It's a complete stomp for the OP side aside the fact of CT.

A way to make it more balanced would be to equalize the speed.

You should give Deidara auto flight and give Kisame time to flood.

I thought there wasn't speed difference? Ok then speed is equalized.

thats where i was getting at due to the opposing team not having the ability to fly nor "stand" on water.... atleast i think so? i dont know much about one piece, except for luffies amazing speed feats.

And why does that matter. As far as I know, nobody on the SH team can fly.

And there is a reason I didn't include Madara on Akatsuki team. It would be a stomp in favor of them.

Deidara could potentially solo this battle via his Final Explosion which has a multi-km (or city level) AoE, but the SH team can easily one-shot him. That is they can reach him from the air (he flies I am right using one of his clay creations?).

What I am saying is that Deidara is probably the biggest threat to the SW team, and with him out of the picture, they have a much better chance of winning.

but the thing is robin...she can make hands appear on the clay bird and hold him down causing him to not be able to do any jutus or make bombs then luffy can strech his arm up there and kick his butt off the bird

That's true. This would be a very interesting battle overall!
But the OP team could easily be fooled by a substitution jutsu.

OP side blitz's and one shots them all. (besides Pain, he takes 6)

well im back... all i have to say, is that if kisame can use exploding water shockwave right off the bat, than the favor wuld go towards the akatsuki.. especially since itachi would be able to ammy the tops of the water so that the op team would either a. drown, b. be burned alive, or c. give up.

upon saying that if they go underwater than deidera can also fly, and send major fish bombs into the water to finish them off.

orochimaru can use his boss sumon which is overkill.

pein... well... does he have all 6 bodies? hopefully?

That is if they know the DF power's weaknesses. They don't know by default, but they might discover it by accident.

im sure theyll figure it out..with hidans immortality, and kakuzus constant element spam... thats the good thing about the akatsuki. they have soooo many possibilities for teamwork.
