okay, another review finaly, and I hope you consider checking this anime/manga out, its really good.

lets start with story 9.5/10
no one knows when the people of this village began to say the wolf is running to describe the wheat swaying in the wind. when air the wind lays flat the ears of wheat, they became trampled by the wolf. and should a poor harvest befall, the crops are eaten by the wolf. in the begining, there was nothing. there was only warmth, and then, a promise was made.
okay, for anyone who knows me, you know i love love-story anime and this is just that, also the story itself, if you cut the romantic subplot out, is still pretty good. it follows a man named lawrence as he returns to the village where his apprentice...uhh...i really dont care about this sl*t so i dont try to remember her name. it seems he returns at the time of the festival celebrating the harvest wolf god horo, or is it holo, w/e ill say holo, he returns around the time of the celebration of the harvest wolf god holo. that night, he finds a young girl sleeping in his cart, upon the sheets covering her falling off, he sees she has wolfs ears and a tail, and she wakes up. apparently this girl is the harvest wolf holo, but lawrence doesnt believe her so he asks her to transform into her true form since, according to legend, the harvest wolf holo can take the form of a young girl, but she really looks like a wolf. she says she requires either human blood, or some wheat to transform, in which lawrence obviously picks wheat, and it turns out that this is why she was in his cart, it turns out the wheat she resides in was put in lawrence's cart, well, once she eats some wheat, she transforms, which causes lawrence to pass out in fear from what he sees. a couple of hours later, they meet again, this time at lawrences house, she just decides to take his bed (expect to see her do this quite a bit) mainly just because she wanted to talk to him, but she was tired. she negotiates with him, he will take her north to where her home is if she does whatever she can to help him make money. and this is all i can give away without spoilers.

characters 10/10
okay, i freaking love holo and lawrence, holo, with the way she acts you wouldnt expect her to be a wise god. she is so lazy, childish at some points, and just gluttonus that you wouldnt expect her to be help to lawrence, but no she is just awesome, like in episode 3 you see her help market some furs that lawrence aquired, its just so funny how this works, and she can kick some ass when she transforms. and even if she was just a lazy glutton, if you didnt change her actiual personality, she would still be a very likeable character. lawrence is just funny, his personality is just so cynical, and he is greedy, but you can tell he really is a good person.

sound 8/10
this anime has a beutiful musical score, its not the usual j-pop you would hear in anime. in fact its mosly just amazingly beutiful orchestral works, with flutes, rennisance string instruments, regular keyboard instruments like piano and organ. in fact, all of this anime is orchestral music. but the opening and ending to the first season are whats really memerable, the beutiful musical score to tabi no tochuu to the interesting sound of the wolf whistling song we all have hajime takakawa is it, i dunno the subtitles to the opening were in the way. but the second opening and ending arent exactly my favorite.

voice acting 9/10
the voice acting in both languages is great, im not shure which im going to go with as a recomendation though, i guess i'll go with the japanese.

art and animation 11/10
